Okay I woke up this morning after dreaming about the fight and something was bothering me. Lemme walk you through it.

1. We know of 3 sets of parents of kids participating- Izuku, Ochako and Shoto
a. Izuku's mom is a single mom raising a kid in an apartment- probably not financially well-off
b. We know Ochako's parents are poor because her whole reason for wanting to be a hero is to take car of them financially
c. Shoto's dad Endeavour is the #2 hero and so rich that he could afford to basically buy a wife

2. We know that the Sports Festival is on par with the Olympics popularity-wise and that it brings in serious money to the school as the business class is able to use it to "run projections and hone their instincts". Thus, they very likely sell tickets or charge an entrance fee.

3. Of the three sets of parents mentioned above, only Endeavour is at the festival to watch his son in person. We know that Ochako's parents and Izuku's mom are watching from home on television. From this, it can be inferred that they had the time availability to attend but non the financial means to do so.

Conclusion 1- UA must not provide free or reduced fee tickets to the parents of students participating despite directly profiting from said student's performances. The students also do not receive monetary compensation, but rather just the opportunity to be scouted by professionals.
