    Anybody else here keeping up with this? Breaking Bad is one of my favorite shows, so when they announced there'd be a spin-off after BB concluded, I was both excited and concerned. I wanted the BB universe to continue indefinitely, but I wasn't sure if Saul Goodman was an interesting enough character, and one with enough depth, to merit a spin-off.

    Admittedly, the first season was kind of slow, but I enjoyed it enough to binge-watch it. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the show included Mike as a main character (and as the show progresses, it gets close to a 50/50 split between Jimmy/Mike).

    After season one, I sort of forgot about it. A few weeks back, I rediscovered it and binge-watched the second season, and became hooked. I love Jimmy/Saul's backstory, I love Mike's backstory, I love the character development (there's so much depth there that was never explored in BB), and I definitely love the peripheral characters they've started bringing into the show. They start off as cameos, more or less, and I expected them to just remain subtle nods to BB, but then the characters start becoming more and more involved. The storyline just gets more and more intense as the series progresses, much like BB. The show's currently on its third season, and it's proving itself to not be one of those "start strong but loses momentum" shows. Quite the opposite, it's only getting more interesting as the show goes on.

    Honestly, I like this just as much as Breaking Bad. Sometimes I wonder if I like it more. At the very least, waiting each week for the new episode is exactly as torturous as it was during BB.

    Ehh. I tried hard to like the first season and I just couldn't no matter how much I wanted to. Did manage to finish it (somehow) and then didn't bother to watch any further. It's funny because my friends too love the show, I just don't see the appeal.

    The first season was slow, and a bit of a chore to get through, but it really picks up.

    Are you a fan of The Walking Dead? It's a lot like that: the first season is slow to the point that you wonder if it's worth it, but then it picks up and you get hooked.

    Last weeks ep was one of my fave of this show, admittedly this show was quite slow and at times boring, but that ep was worth it!

    One of my favourite shows. The character development is slow but steady, just how I like it. Awesome to see Gus back, hoping for a Jesse cameo before it's all over.

    I'd recommend watching Breaking Bad first. A lot of the character reveals in Better Call Saul are significant because of the characters' roles in Breaking Bad. It adds a special element to it, like "oh **** they just brought HIM in?!"

    thats what everyone at work said so i got to season 4 i think before my netflix got cancelled... and I loved Mondays episode I am kinda upset we dont have a new episode Monday though
    Oh shit, I completely forgot we have to wait two weeks until the next episode (well, week and a half).

    I love it. And I love to see what the characters were like before BB. I think if you haven't watched BB yet, it's better to finish watching BCSaul because then you won't know what happens to the characters and the two TV series become like one.



    What do you think how many seasons of BTSaul there will be?

    And do you think we may see what happened after BB? We have already seen a few scenes from BTSaul what Jimmy's life looks like working as a manager at CINNABON. He looks cautious or even a bit scared has a moustache and balding hair, wears glasses.

    I'm about to watch the season finale now
    I'm gutted that it's finished for another year. It's right up there with my favourite shows, no doubt about it.
