Seriously, this episode really reignited my hopes for the series. It was solid all the way through. None of it felt like filler this time. It really felt like the GoT of the earlier seasons.

Holy moly that was exhilarating!

My faith that knights could fight pirates on equal footing has been restored. Like you never see knight warriors on screen as good and brave and terrible as the combat in the pirates of the caribbean movies IMO. But this was it.

Bronn saved him, according to a leaker site i read.

In the teaser for next weeks episode, you see two guys walking along the burnt ashy lake shore, amongst the post-battle carnage.
You can safely presume it's bronn and jamie IMO.

Can't imagine the writers would save him from a fire breathing dragon death just to have him drown in a river xD My guess is Dany will take him as a prisoner (Tyrion probably convinces her not to kill him and Bronn).

I guess Daenerys would make them as prisoner (Jaime and Bron). It would make easier to manipulate Cersei and it a good move for her. But still sad because she doesnt hear Jon Snow's advice. Do you think that Jon Snow bend knee to Daenerys in the cave scene? Winter is coming and night king is the true enemy afterall. Oh please Daenerys. Fight with Jon!!

Jon can't bend the knee yet and keep the respect of the people of the North -- time will tell. Right now the Lannister's are her (pretty much everyone good) enemy, amazing how Tyrion will be able to keep his (head) job back in Westeros. Can't wait to see Cersei's fate!

Well Gillys little scene tonight was interesting! Nice to finally see another theory confirmed! Really enjoyed this weeks too, seems like they are keeping up the pace this season!

I find it a bit mad that only the seven of them marched off into the snow to meet the army of the undead.
Not sure what they even hope to achieve - capturing a white walker would require more people, more armour and horses or something surely. I sure as hell wouldn'tve followed them lol...

But the episode overall was pretty great, even for what people have described as a "filler episode". After a season full of filler episodes (season 6), I'd say this counts as a real episode.

And I don't care if they're related or not, I want to see Jon and Daenerys bang.
