I wouldn't say great. It laid down groundwork for things to come, that's about it. Also, wtf at the Ed Sheeran cameo?! lol

In Game of Thrones there are no good or bad (apart from the White Walkers I suppose), they're all human beings that try to do what is best for themselves and their families. Or what's left of their families anyway.

Oh dear god, please don't make this lame for us. There are definitely good or bad families

Episode was mediocre. Had the same amateur feel as the last season, and you can tell that a lot of characters are going to continue being annoying as all hell (looking at you, Sansa)

Apparently they never planned to open the first episode with that Arya scene, but after discovering it worked out flawlessly they shifted it to the start of the show! [:tongue:]

MFW Jim Broadbent cameo, I was waiting 7 seasons for him to make an appearance lol it had to happen!

Ian McShane was a great one last season tho.

Lost interest after I learned Daenerys uses a body double for nudz.

so did Jon Snow for his naked full body backside shot.

I'll never say no to nudity but there's not enough of it anyway for THAT to be the reason to watch. The shot of the dudes pecker showing complaining about his warts on my big screen tv still gives me nightmares. Too bad they killed off margaery tyrell, i was looking forward to that walk of shame.

So since the Hound saw things in the flames, is he going to be the one who crosses paths with Melisandre since she was exiled from winterfell? She's got to be reintroduced somewhere.

I surprised someone feels this way. Jon Snow, Hodor, 3 eyed raven, battle of the bastards, Danny returns and saves the town, those stupid sept people finally all killed, that wus Tommen took care of himself. So much more, what a awesome season.

I don't know anybody that thought last season was "awesome", or even "good". Every GoT fan I know (and most of us have read some or all of the books) have found it to be a colossal disappointment. Ever since they ran out of source material and the writing was left to the "writers", it turned into goddamn amateur hour. The writing is sloppy and cheap, the episodes lack the depth they used to have, and they end up being 90% filler. The entire last season was a build-up to two good scenes, and if the season premiere was any indication, this season will be more of the same. My buddy who's a die-hard GoT fan put it perfectly: "The episode ended while I was still waiting for something to happen."

And **** Hodor. That was a cheap death and a cheaper explanation.

Hodor's death was awesome, last season was awesome, this last episode was awesome(except for Sheeran). It's obvious you don't like the show .. so just don't watch it.

I'm glad I never read the books cause it might ruin the show for me but even those that I know that have read the books still love the show.

I didn't mind Sheeran in it, it wasn't too distracting and a pretty subtle cameo. Not that we should see him again, I hope. I don't know if those guys in that group will be in another episode or not, likely not Sheeran. Found an article that said it was a surprise for Maisie:

Weiss recruited him for an episode as a surprise for her.
