It is for the big sceen. Two hours of excellent action entertainment without any longueurs. It's cool, it's fun... bullseye.
I've already watched it twice and will definately not stop there. -

On par is the fact that Chapter 2 gets bettter the more you watch it.
Guys, this is a gangster game, isn't it? Get your buttocks into a cinema or you are going to miss the most serious gunslinger shit you have seen on screen in a very, very long time. Stay alert because towards the end John does something with a pistol. One quick movement but it is so awesome that I needed to see it three times before I belived my eyes. Stuff like that got lost and we can concider ourselfes lucky for there still are actors who deliver it. :DLast edited by John_Wick on 10:22:00 - 07/03/17 (8 years ago) -

I concur there were no longueurs at all, and what was good about the first one they improved on in this one.
The only negative I have to say about JW2 is a very small thing (no spoilers).
There were one or two moments half the theatre giggled in disbelief, and personally, it did take me out of the zone a bit - suddenly the badass heroes seemed more like children with fingers shaped into guns making pew pew noises with their mouths, 'cause the action was so OTT/beyond belief. But it sorta felt like the funny bits in Jackie Chan movies in the middle of the action.Last edited by Laughingman91 on 11:24:56 - 07/03/17 (8 years ago) -

Yea, the pew pew scene actually is my favorite joke of the movie.
I disliked them shooting at the fountain. -
