And I really thought, at first, that the Ridley Scott original, although not as good as Aliens imo, was in the 80's. Not so...It was '79. So I'm glad you made me go look. Ha.
I was on the edge through that entire film.
A real popular movie for us was Fast Times at Ridgemont High. But that's b/c it played EVERY Friday night opposite Rocky Horror Picture Show.
We would sneak liquor into whichever one we felt like seeing that weekend and get blitzed. But we were young and fairly stupid...then? Now? -

All these I would quite happily watch again.
Nineties, well, The Crying Game's probably quite a favourite with the fake-females on Torn. :PBut I shot a man in Torn, just to watch him die.
The best laid plans of mice, men and faction leaders often go awry.

Posted on 02:03:49 - 15/01/17 (8 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkKinda tough but I would say something like The Terminator, Day Of The Dead, Return Of The living Dead, Maximum Overdrive, The Great Outdoors, and The Burbs.
None are Academy Award winners, but they are movies I would watch when they are on. -
