I've been watching from the start. Love the show, but a few things bother me...

At the start of each series it's obvious they found nothing otherwise it would make the news, not mainstream maybe, but it would be reported in places I'd have seen...

Also, there seem to be a lot of "experts" who are quite happy to take the brothers money for what looks like some made up crap they did in their basement and hid somewhere else...

That said, I do hope they find something. After all the money they have invested, you do want them to succeed... [:sick:]

I probably put too much faith in the "experts", but I somehow ran across some info about one of them being a complete charlatan. The guys name is J. Hutton Pulitizer or something. Not only does he have no credentials, but all of his claims are fantasy based. I found some message boards where he gets called out for his bullshit then throes temper tantrums about it.

Scott Wolter has also been called out, but from what I have seen at least he uses facts to support his claims.

I think all the "experts" are there for the hype. It's like every episode you have to see the guys in the war room then the music cuts in "dun-dun-dun!" and close ups of Rick or Marty's faces....lol.

But I still think something is there. With the traps and tunnels, it can't just be a little ol pirates treasure chest. If it was already found someone is hiding it really well.

I really want something to turn up!

On another note, a friend of a friend went up there with the intention of visiting Oak Island and they have it closed off unless you take a tour. They didn't stay for a tour but I darn sure would have!

it is kinda exagerated.. like they said on one of the last episode that it will cost 2-3 million dollars just to bore that hole out at the money pit.. thats more then the familys net worth... might cost a couple hundred grand max..

They are going to find a king's ransom worth of treasure....The Knight's Templar hid the Arc of the Covenent there, the Spanish conquistadors looted the Incas and buried billions worth of objects made of gold and some random pirates left at least 3 more treasure chests.

Just believe me and don't be a poophead. :P

I've watched it since the beginning too and at this point I'd be happy if they found a gold chain with a ruby pendant....anything of value, really.
