    I've been watching since season 1. I was so excited to see a show about it as it had always interested me and info seems to be hard to come by. I love the show, although there are elements of reality show hyperbole. Some of the ideas and connections they make are contrived and honestly crap, but in my opinion that's a low percentage. I really want to see them find what is buried there because I believe there is something major to be found.

    yes, it's been running for 4 seasons already I think and it just started another. I hope they find something soon. :)

    Pirates treasure or perhaps treasure hidden by the Knights Templar. :)

    I'm sure it's not the Holy Grail or Shakespeare's original drafts, but there's something there. I am very interested in the theory that they just started talking about, that an entire ship was sunk in the swamp.

    As a history buff, I think the most upsetting aspect of Oak Island is that even if they find the treasure, there will still be so many unanswered questions that may never be answered. There are so many elements that it will be impossible to tell which are relevant and which are not.

    The brothers and investors that are searching now have invested over 2 million dollars into this. I think they are dragging it out on purpose' :)

    I've been watching from the start. Love the show, but a few things bother me...

    At the start of each series it's obvious they found nothing otherwise it would make the news, not mainstream maybe, but it would be reported in places I'd have seen...

    Also, there seem to be a lot of "experts" who are quite happy to take the brothers money for what looks like some made up crap they did in their basement and hid somewhere else...

    That said, I do hope they find something. After all the money they have invested, you do want them to succeed... [:sick:]

    I remember reading about this mystery back in the 70's.

    One thing that sticks in my mind was the fact that when the pit was found there was an old block and tackle hanging from a tree above it.

    The only reason to leave that there would be if it was used to remove whatever was buried.

    Been watching since episode one. I'm hooked, but like another poster said, some of the connections are a bit far fetched. As a kid I read the same article as the brothers did, it did spark the imagination. I have to admit to having forgotten all about it until the show started.

    I probably put too much faith in the "experts", but I somehow ran across some info about one of them being a complete charlatan. The guys name is J. Hutton Pulitizer or something. Not only does he have no credentials, but all of his claims are fantasy based. I found some message boards where he gets called out for his bullshit then throes temper tantrums about it.

    Scott Wolter has also been called out, but from what I have seen at least he uses facts to support his claims.
