    I love the concepts of space travel and it's terrifying and thrilling to me. So any titles that are movies, anime, tv shows that you would recommend.

    So i just watched Intersteller and 2001: a space odyssey
    I loved intersteller, instantly became one of my top 5. 2001: a space odyssey was great but almost stopped watching because the beginning was so slow, I'm glad I kept it on though. Also serenity, the fifth element, moon

    I'm also interested in space anime, it doesn't give me same thrill but I have watched cowboy bebop and knights of sidonia Deadspace really liked them

    And for t.v. shows I've watched fire fly which is not dedicated space show but i loved it.

    I've watched Red Dwarf and Pandorum, just the stuff i was looking for. I'll check out the others thank you much!

    way too many movies ... i see event horizon and pandorum already mentioned , so i'll add

    Serenity - stands alone but i'd recommend you start with Firefly series before watching this film
    Galaxy Quest - for the lols
    Solaris - the original russian version from the 70's and not the sub-par Hollywood remake with george clooney ( who else ? ... lol)
    Halock : space pirate - the 2013 version
    Space battleship yamato - live action film
    Cargo - swiss ci-fi ?? worth a peak ;)
    as for tv shows .... in no specific order ... Lexx, Firefly, Andromeda,Farscape, Buck rogers in the 25th century (a classic), Space 1999 (even older classic), Battlestar Galactica (original and new shows ) , Star trek (of course !!!!!! )

    BBC's Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets - A fictional documentary/drama about a manned round tour of the solar system.
    Thought the sfx pretty good for the time.
    There was a TV show 'Defying Gravity' that borrowed a lot from this, mercifully it got cancelled.
