Not at all, besides what was pointed out, this article of the possible "Jesus" character appearing in The Walking Dead shows Glenn in character.

He should be dead surrounded by that hoard on the floor like he was. having the other guy fall on top of him would be pretty over the top. The other guy shot himself first so he would have hit the floor a bit before glenn. And even if he did hide under the body he wouldnt last long with his head poking out shouting and screaming. It didnt even look like he was under another body to me.
Forum signatures make my eyes hurt so i have turned them off.

Yep, Gen's definitely going to hit the ground first. Also newly-dead-guy going down still with a knife in his hand..
If he can grab the knife & get under the dumpster, he could cut a Z and get some of it's blood on him, which we know can camouflage Also with the knife he could possibly cut a hole in the bottom of the dumpster and get inside it - he'd be trapped but still alive.
Interestingly, as has been pointed out elsewhere, Glen called Rick "dumbass" when speaking to him on the walkie-talkie earlier in the episode. Glen called Rick "dumbass" in the very first episode, when Rick, surrounded by walkers, had crawled into a tank from underneath & managed to get himself trapped inside it.But I shot a man in Torn, just to watch him die

In the latest "Morgan" episode, Steven Yeun does not appear in the opening credits, anyone else notice?

It will be sad if Glenn is dead not because he is dead, but because it really wasnt all that memorable of a death scene for a main character. And if he does live its just poor writing because like you said, there is no way anyone would be able to survive with that amount of dead all around him.Last edited by Poopsammich on 00:59:19 - 08/11/15 -

This week's episode dragged, not sure which one was worse: this episode or the governor episodes.

I'm thinking that we still might find Glen alive but we may lose another fav like Darryl in an unexpected twist.

It wouldn't make sense to kill Rick off, but if they did, I could live with it. Maggie? I like her, but I could live with it. Glenn? I'll mourn his loss, but I don't necessarily see him as an invincible character (though by this point, I feel like he should be). Carl? Take him or leave him, don't really care either way. The priest? Can't wait to see that hammer fall. The others I couldn't remember? Probably won't be missed.
Darryl and Carol, though... better leave them the hell alone. They're survivors. Same with Michelle. And that other black dude. He's badass as f**kLast edited by MadHatter on 16:15:18 - 11/11/15 -

Glenn was one of my favorites, if not my favorite character; but, I don't see a way for the writers to keep him alive without tarnishing the show a bit.
I like Carol, but the writers have invested a lot in Rick and I'm not sure the show can carry on without him just yet. Morgan, Carol, Michonne, Daryl, Carl, Maggie are the only stand alone characters left. They could all die (not in the same episode of course) and the show would still be able to move forward. -

Posted on 19:36:11 - 12/11/15 (7 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkI just rewatched the death scene. If you look carefully, the walkers start tearing into flesh above where Glenn's chest would be (based on his head/angle of his neck). They're also shown pulling out and eating intestines, from that area. I'm no doctor, but I don't feel like Glenn kept his intestines under his ribcage. The way he and Nicholas fell from the dumpster, it's likely that Nicholas ended up laying across Glenn sideways/diagonally, so that the zombies would be removing the contents of Nicholas' abdomen above Glenn's chest. Also, the ease and depth with which they tore into the flesh, and the amount of blood spilling out, would be (in my opinion - again, not a doctor) inconsistent with them tearing into the upper torso.
Final thought: the fabric they're shown tearing through looks more like Nicholas' tan-ish overshirt (followed by his grey undershirt - clever that they were both wearing grey T-shirts). -

Yes, Like you, I am not fully convinced that he is dead and I think that the fact that we have had two filler episodes to keep us guessing makes me think that we haven't seen the end of Glen....got a feeling Darryl might be in trouble this week though :(

You also got to take into account that the both ran out of bullets. Glenn fired his last shot and you hear the click. Then he pulls out his knife and when thats happening you hear another click and I assume that would be Nicholas's gun running out. But I dont think he has time to reload when they are climbing the dumpster.
Also it could all just be and illusion in Nicholas head. Who knows only time will tell. -
