It took me ages to watch the 9th. Not because I didn't like it, but because up until I watched it, there would always be more X-Files. Once I'd seen it, I felt a bit "meh, now there's nothing left to watch" lol

A nice little preview. I'm really curious to see how they explain the return of CSM and the Long Gunman. I'm super hyped for this, I just hope it was worth the wait. Something has to wash the taste of seasons 8 and 9 and the second movie out of my mouth. I am disappointed that only the first and last episodes will advance the mythology. Anyway I'm getting super pumped for this.

One more week!

I am so excited. Did some Binge watching on Netflix over the past month and a half of the old seasons all 9 of them. Also today on Fo they had a 30 minute special with the cat of X-Files. Mulder, Scilly, Skinner, CSM, and some new actors as well as the director Chris carter on there. Talked a lot about the upcoming show. What to expect and so on. Including the return of CSM.

If you are interested you should see if they are it again. Just do a menu search for X files I think it was X files Reborn. I have my series recording set, I do hope they decide to make it longer than six episodes.

Ahw dammit! I'm still on S8 of X-Files wanted to finish it before the new one started. Ah well. Either way, can't wait!!

My Struggle I really didn't like to much. I felt like it wasn't cohesive and it just didn't do anything for me. The second episode, Founders Mutation was pretty good. I felt like that would have for in just fine during the series. These two have left me conflicted, as I was a huge fan of the mythology to the point where I could have done without the stand alone episodes. To be honest I feel as though they screwed up the mythology long ago so I don't know what I was expecting.

The final episode of the original show was probably one of the most hilarious thing I have ever seen, when they finally lay out the conspiracy about the government pretending to be hiding aliens so that it could double fake out and hide the real aliens but simultaneously conspire against the aliens and also stuff with human experiments... When Scully says it all in one sentence, you can't help but LOL.

The entire last two seasons as well as the second movie made my soul sad. They really f**ked it all to hell. DD disappearing didn't help things one bit.

Anyway I really enjoyed last night's episode. It's def one of my fav episodes of the entire run.
