It's about a bunch of old guys living on a run-down estate in Scotland named Craiglang. Anyone know if these are on Netflix? I gotta queue them up. -

I'd recommend watching some British panel shows if you haven't already; things like Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Would I Lie to You, Big Fat Quiz of the Year, QI and Have I Got News For You are all amazingly funny

Blackadder is good, Rowan Atkinson in a very non mr.bean role. also has hugh laurie and stephen fry.
Red Dwarf i remember being good
also i dont quite understand why i liked these shows, but keeping up appearances and yes, minister. but neither of those fit what your looking for i think. -
