    I've always been partial to Dragon Ball Z myself. Yes, plot-induced-stupidity up the wazoo, but I always found it fun to watch.

    Character development considered, I always had a soft spot for Vegeta's Final Atonement bit in the Buu saga. Part of me wishes that was how the saga ended...

    http://myanimelist.net/animelist/topsy&show=0&order=4 is my MAL. Doesn't have everything(mostly the terrible stuff i watch and don't remember). My favorite anime of all time is definitely Shinseki Yori(one of 3 10/10's). If you ahven't seen it and like my other 9's/10's then you should check it out. Not really insane action, but just an amazing plot that synthesizes concepts, artistic style, and story better than any other show I know. Really brings out the best in the medium(although does have a few wtf arcs and one instance of maybe over theorizing the artistic direction).

    There's a dude soemwhere named after Steins;Gate i've seen around.
