For about a year now I have been watching the anime and I am on episode 384 now (Brook just joined the crew). I am thinking about getting the manga now and I am wondering how much different it is from the anime and what volume I should start at?

Last time I used Google for One Piece I ran into some pretty big spoilers, I am trying to avoid them.

if you wish to avoid spoilers then the answer should be extremely obvious ... start at volume 1
