    Same thing happened for me... My rl (in-game spouse) rented the movie from Blockbuster and I fell in love with the characters and the witty comedy of Joss Whedon. I couldnt figure out if the movie was a comedy, western, sci-fi, action, thriller or drama; ended up being all of them combined...

    So then my friend shows me the tv series and my mind melted. I watched the 14 episodes that night and spent the rest of the night bitching about how the show got canceled...

    I did not include Doctor who 'cauz the 12th...let's just say Peter Capaldi has an unique way off...
