    Just a quick question on what people plan on watching this season, there doesn't seem to be a lot from this season which has caught my eye sadly although i think i'll watch 3-4 of them. The only one i'm actually looking forward to will be tokyo ghoul S2 which after the ending of S1 i've been hyped as f**k for. Spring looks much better and there's 4 off the bat i'm looking forward but because of that i wondered if perhaps i'm just missing something.

    besides the currently running shows that continue into the winter season (world trigger, log horizon, parasyte and your lie in april) i'm keeping and eye on

    • Absolute duo (read a bit of the manga a while back and so far watched 1st ep)
    • The testament of sister new devil (read a bit of the manga a while back and so far watched 1st ep)
    • Aldnoah zero 2nd season
    • Sengoku Musou
    • Isuca
    • Koufuku Graffiti (didn't plan to but i had some free time today and checked out the 1st ep of this show)

    after ep1 of S2 i can say it's doing a great job at getting me excited

    I myself rarely watch any recent anime, I tend to like older anime, especially stuff from the 2000s and the 80s. Right now, I've fallen in love with the Black Jack remake, I recommend it if you like comedy and medical drama.

    i think you and me are different then, it seems i prefer more modern, i guess it's mostly because i find it hard to watch something with what i consider bad art/animation but older ones on average tend to have better stories, mostly as they were able to make stories before there were so many already made :p

    it seems that 2007 was the best year in terms of what i rated it seems o.o

    @Mat-Sempai, as for Tokyo Ghoul S2, this kaneki I can stomach... but that Noro guy stole the show IMO.

    Older anime > newer anime by far IMO :p

    @Mat-Sempai, as for Tokyo Ghoul S2, this kaneki I can stomach... but that Noro guy stole the show IMO.

    Older anime > newer anime by far IMO :p
    the older > than the newer.. i don't really know about, people are often influenced by a feeling of nostalgia - what i will say that i have two all time loved series of all times the first being clannad, which is guess is now considered "old" but the other would be the monogatari series from shaft which is much newer, i'm sure within time i'll find things on the same level... or unthinkably better

    but that's just my opinion

    Psycho Pass is like Ghost in the Shell if you haven't watched it yet.

    is toyko ghoul scary?
    i don't really think i find anything "scary" really, i think i'm far too removed watching anime for that to happen, i guess you could argue that it is - to me it's like the game prototype but with a good story

    Death Parade. You should watch death billiards and treat the one shot as episode 0.

    Ansatsu Koushitsu (Assassination Classroom). It has had a great start. I'm glad there is finally an anime adaptation for this manga.
