I watched this when it came out for DVD and it was turned off after 20 minutes as I found myself falling asleep to it. Didn't bother with the sequel! -

Same with maze runner and hunger games
Hobbit and Harry potter as we all know not many manage to bridge the gap between books and movies . They tend to leave out important parts of plots etc which does my head in

I did like the lord of the rings films though.Forum signatures make my eyes hurt so i have turned them off.

I could understand why they'd make it three films if they actually stuck to the book completely, but if they were gonna butcher it as much as they did and turn parts of it into disney nonsense they coulda just made one film..
