Bill Cosby has long been one of my favorite comedians. It has come as a shock to me that 13 women have now come forward stating he has raped or sexually assaulted them. While he has not been criminally charged, NBC and Netflix have both cancelled projects with him over the allegations and the resulting bad publicity.

I remain on the fence about the allegations. He's not likely to face criminal charges because of the time that has passed, but the court of public opinion has certainly been vocal. His refusal to talk about the allegations (and his questioning the integrity of anyone who asks him about it) isn't helping him, and that fact alone tarnishes my opinion of him pretty badly. Did he do these things? Dunno. Is he handing it well? Not really.

What are your thoughts? Serial rapist or serial smear target?

I think once you've hit 13+ people it can no longer be called a smear campaign or simply people looking for attention with false allocations. The person he plays on screen is very different to the person he is in real life as all people who play characters, they're simply that. Either way i hope that the cases are brought to an end soon and if he is found guilty the the correct action is taken against him.

No one comes out and says they were raped simply so they can be known as the person Bill Cosby raped.

Most people you see on screen are actors. Some even have it as their job title. They are there to entertain, distract, misinform, inspire and deflate. What they rarely do is be themselves. So I'm not surprised another one has been turned out of their closet and revealed to be something other than what many thought them to be.

Put no faith in them and you'll never be disappointed, or fooled.
