Tell me your Favorite Comedian, Tell me why he is your favorite.

My Favorite Comedian is George Carlin, loved him for his honesty, talent to make you laugh with just about anything, and realistic.

There are a ton of talented comedians. Some that comes directly to mind is Louis CK, Doug Stanhope, Gabriel Iglesias (Fluffy), Margaret Cho... Not to forget are the ones that passed away: Robin Williams, George Carlin, Bill Hicks, Abbott&Costello among others.

Dave Chappelle - funny as hell.  It's a shame he tossed in after not really being able to handle the pressure of being syndicated, but that's not for everyone I guess.

No one has mentioned Dane Cook! I just love the one he does in Madison Square, so funny but he does repeat some jokes in other stand up shows

Bill Cosby is the greatest comic ever! Now a days even if a comic is great you only get one maybe two shows out of them. Bill Engvall, Ron White are both great Bill gets old a little fast, but Ron White is really good.

John Cleese makes me laughing tears.
Jim Carrey makes me chuckle over and over and over.
    Robin Williams is Robin Williams!
Eddie Murphy en Chris Tucker make my cheeks sore.
Rowan Atkinson is a funny genius.
Richard Prior was ahead of it's time.

Those come to mind easily and are internationals in there field but there are so many other greats ...
