    Pippin! They made Pippin sing!!!!!

Hah, I can't wait for this! I honestly never expected Bilbo to look like that but hey, I didn't expect Legolas to look like Orlando Bloom in LOTR either. Haha!

Hey, does anyone else wish that LOTR used Sharkey? I would have loved to see them fight for the Shire!

The first two were absolutely awful. Never read the books, so it's not a book-to-movie what-the-f**k-did-they-do thing, but my god. How in the f**k did they think it was a good idea to stretch that small book into 3 films?
And on top of that, what the f**k was their goal? Half the time it's a watered down version of LoTR, and the other half it's a childrens story with singin and dancing.
Can't believe they're going to cram 2 major battles into the final film, while the first two were devoid of anything interesting whatsoever.

"Oh look, it's Legolas doing that shit he did in LoTR"
    "Oh look, it's a she-Legolas"
"Oh look, it's a love triangle"
    "Oh look, it's finished"

I read all the books. I love all the movies. Probably because I loved the books so much. I read the Hobbit twice, the rest once, and the movies I've seen many many times.

I'm ever so excited for the 3rd Hobbit movie this year!! :)

The sad bit is that Legolas if you read the Hobbit was never in the book just the Lord of the Rings series.

Kaizaki defeated the dried  up witch and got her prince in the end.

Peter Jackson had a though task ever since he agreed to direct the films, the criticism has been pretty unfair by everyone IMO, take away the added characters and liberties that PJ took from the films and they are pretty faithful to the books, the source material is a children's book, if PJ had tried to make it more LOTRish then everyone would've complained how he ruined a light hearted children's story, "critics" keep comparing them with either the book or LOTR which makes no sense, simply put, PJ had no chance to please everyone.

It will still be a great night out with my friends when we go watch it.

Nah not at the moment, I was kidding around. Although the town near it called Matamata does have a large amount of short inhabitants. A lot are under 6 foot tall.

when it comes to added content from when a book transitions to film as long as it compliments the source material and doesn't effect it I'm ok with it and really when a book transitions to film having something be a little different keeps things refreshing and can add to the lore of the source material.

if you want a case where this goes wrong just look at the transformer films where Micheal Bay butches the source material and they even f**k up on a few of the robots misnaming two of them and then they completely screw up one of the bigger story arcs.

Completely agree with you, the main difference is that Transformers had so much characters that there was no need to invent or misname any of them but he managed to do so... SPOILER ALERT... even as to not give a name to the Dinobots or even make them talk, that really pissed me off on the latest movie.

On a side note, awesome nick you got there, thats one of the best Mafia animes ever IMO, like the Godfather of anime. To think it spawned from a fighting PS2 title, thats how you do things right.

hate to tell you but they already have plans for transformers 5 and 6

I've refused to pay for any movie made by micheal bay so I pirate his stuff all the time to watch when I'm bored seeing as his only decent films were the Bad Boys movies and thats only because those are the only films where he had good actors. Then again Bad Boys 1 was his debut as a director and he was working with Jerry Bruckheimer who would later go on to create some of the best crime dramas on TV like the CSI:Crime Scene Investigation franchise that spawned 3 shows.

He had sung already in the second or third one LOTR instalment (can't remember which) - I think it was the same song as well.
