Now, this is the sport of champions. Only the brave should ever take part as there is the constant fear of injury and even death...
That's right, I'm talking Tiddlewinks...
So are you a Tiddler or a Winker?[]I will never lie to you. What I say is how I feel...

Posted on 08:33:58 - 18/07/14 (10 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkNeither! I am an armchair supporter... I stay at home and rage at the cheating antics of all those tiddlers and winkers, abuse the officials who are clearly blind and biased and wait for any outbreaks of violence to cheer on. All without spending a penny.

Its almost like they are trying to manufacture results! if they are not careful it will become like wrestling! -

Sorry this has been here for a while, but been travelling...
Right, in honour of Sharknado 2 being shown on SyFy on 31 July 2014 I feel we must confess our guilty sins when it comes to movies...
I admit I do love Sharknado. Yes, you need to forget everything you know about science, continity in films and common sense, but it is a rocking good film...
Where else would you actually hear someone say "Ow!" when being eaten by a shark?[]I will never lie to you. What I say is how I feel...

My guilty secret would have to be Kingdom of the Spiders. Pretty low budget and old, but I watched it when I was about 10 and it has stuck in my mind forever more. While imbd 'ing to make sure that I got the title right, I have only just realised it starred William Shatner! -

If you see a DVD for £1 in Woolworths, you HAVE to buy it.
Hilarious classics such as Hercules in New York, Road to Bali, Hell Comes to Frogtown and Power Rangers: Ninja Storm provided hours of fun. And if anyone has seen Sandy the horrific chimp-boy-thing in Road to Bali, I almost died of both fear and laughter combined.Join our sexy faction for great perks and pics you can blackmail other members with ten years hence.

Posted on 10:33:42 - 28/07/14 (10 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkI'm a big fan of 80s films having grown up in that era, however one film from then that I missed completely until less than 10 years ago was 'The Wraith'.
Then I stumbled upon it late one night on telly and after that had to buy it due to the combination of it containing American 'muscle' cars (I use the term loosely though - there was only one that qualified really), sillyness, 80sness, and Sherilyn Fenn's cuteness (not to mention great norks!)
Made in 1986, which was a brilliant year. 3 of my 4 fave films ever were made in this year - At Close Range, About Last Night, & Youngblood. The 4th is Once Upon a Time in America which was 2 years too early for the full sweep :)Last edited by johnnyrambo on 10:45:58 - 28/07/14 (10 years ago)Selling RW weapons stolen from the US Army.
