This top post will be used to answer questions about the rules.

When do the races start, open, and how long are they?
They begin at 22:00 each day. The stewards will be opening them at different times, but at least five hours ten hours before they begin. Each race is passworded so you shouldn't have an issue getting in. They are all 20 laps each.

What happens if I miss a race?
All drivers must attend all sixteen races. If you miss a race you will receive a penalty time equivalent to the slowest posted time plus 1%. Separate races for each track can be run at the organisers' discretion, but you would have to have an extremely good reason to miss a race for us to do this - Dirty Bombs are one such reason.

What happens if I crash out?
Drivers who crash out will receive the slowest posted time plus a percentage added based on how much of the race you completed. Your penalty percentage will be 0.75% for drivers who crash out with 25% of the race or less completed. Each percentage point of the race you complete will reduce your crash penalty by 0.1%. e.g. if you crash after 50% of the race, your penalty is 0.5%.

    How much do I win?
Please see the prizes tab on the results spreadsheet.

    Is my Driver DS shared?
Yes. We will be obtaining this data shortly for publication on the results spreadsheet.

The first race at Speedway is now up! As usual, the race begins at 22:00 TCT. The password is on the sheet I sent out to all qualified drivers. Due to the number of participants this year it isn't feasible for us to mail you all every time there's a race, so the onus is on you to remember! I will try and check in with those who haven't joined roughly 30 minutes before we start though.

Got a call from work and got totally involved in something dumb right before the race, then popped back on like 30 seconds late.

Hope no one crashes in any of the races I might be running a Ferrari from here on out.

    F*** me.

Its best to enter as soon as you can in case of any disasters.

Its easy to forget if you are doing other races during the morning/afternoon. I always get in the race as soon as it opens. Its so easy for something to go wrong if you do other races the same day.

Forum signatures make my eyes hurt so i have turned them off.

I don't know about the Ferraris, but something is incredibly wrong with the Bugattis today. Just how many of us tried to sabotage them at the same time? A car can only have so many bananas into the exhaust pipe!(That's what she said)

If I understand correctly, is the winner determined by adding together all the race times?

Doesnt this unfairly weight the races on the longer circuits?
I.e Doing well by a big variance on a long race (docks) means you'll be really fair ahead, even if you lose by a big variance on short races.(speedway)

Based on qualifier results I'd say all that really sets people apart is driving skill (assuming same car setup) so it's really distance=king. Not really about track size so much as laps. Distance is a normalizing factor so the further overall, the more it's gonna just boil down to driving skill and who already has a Bugatti.

It's early doors but the Winter Rally results spreadsheet has been updated. I'll add links to each race to the race name at the top of the sheet for anyone who wants to check if I've f**ked up. I do triple check the times to alleviate my own paranoia though.

Also for transparency, I'll always include missed or crashed race calculations at the bottom of the results sheet. Rogue's time ended up being Octon's 10:10.48 plus about six seconds. I'm afraid we have to be firm on missed races to avoid jeopardising the schedule and ensuring everyone knows where they stand after each round. If you or anyone you know is planning to spontaneously combust over the next few hours, please enter your race as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Our stewards have agreed to open races at least 10 hours prior to the start, so please take advantage of that! I'll endeavour to find precise race opening times from as many stewards as possible. Tiffz has informed me that Sunday's race will be set up while tonight's Industrial race is running, so it'll be there for you to join immediately afterward, if you wish.
