Don't be sour that we didnt sing to your tune. Since LW went out goats solo focused us trying to push us out while illu solo focused KW to get them out. Yet you were surprised that after your attempt to keep your main ally alive was failing, your "flip" wasn't accepted by us? You're either a clown or denser than everyone already thinks.

    FidelCashflow [1993550]

You still had a decent path to victory especially considering goats flipped late.

You could have just used KW trading lives 1:1, 3:2 vs Illu to farm tickets off goat while doing enough at pushes to not be that sus. When KW loses, dongs would be at around 2k-2.5k tickets with illu at anywhere from 20-40 lives. The 3 of u could hard focus illu to keep them 0ed and they'd have a difficult time with that ticket deficit. Then SB+you turn on Goat who can't win a 1v2 which puts you vs. SB for the finals. I think dongs is the stronger team there.

Either way you made the choice for an easy road to second instead of a dicey road to first. What's done is done and I'm sure people on your side who need the top 3 merit are happy.

    Nospis [2623414]

Dongs are likely to get 2nd, I don't get why everyone cries blue murder for them getting a better deal than getting 4th or -best case scenario- 3rd
If dongs outlasted illu and KW was out (the most likely scenario had the 4v1 held), they could get 2nd or 1st. Hell, they already guaranteed themselves top 3 by then.

    Indubitably [2117849]

goat truly handed that win to illu, needed every team on them... either way, illu deserved it - LT + Lilith put their all in and killed it massaging some egos to coast to victory.

also euph spent more time on this essay than he did in the past 48 hours leading kw

gave up once things didn't look in his direction while also having no plan for them to go in his direction... you really thought multiple teams would sit on a sword for you? that was the master plan?

inactive leadership all around led to an inactive memberbase with nobody pushing, a big shame since i worked with less in st6 with more effective pushes. you really have to no life elim 24/7 for you to have a solid team, if there's 6+ hour periods of nobody but members asking wtf to do in chat consistently people stop giving a shit

link- + jon + fidel were the only people around on the leadership team generating some type of positive atmopshere and it wasn't close to enough.

gg's all, was still a somewhat fun elim with illu just absolutely slapping me around for hours on end, lol
Totally agreed. Also many of the members in important positions were just vocal in support but had few hits compared to what could be done. I didn't know being on some position gave a pass.

Oof, looks like staying loyal to an alliance in a free for all competition bit you in the ass. Who would have saw that coming...

Not adapting by flipping on your friends at the right time was the reason why you guys died the way you did... dongs got to the alliance first instead of kw because Dongs realized their situation and wanted to do better. This comp is not about staying loyal, it's about doing as best as you can do.

Well played regardless, though. Elimination is always the best thing about torn imo.
no f**king way illu trusted euph enough to allow them to even flip... we barely did anything to help our own allies on pushes, we were a "shit" ally all comp in illu's eyes

dongs was going to be the choice 100% of the time

the bed was made, we rested in it.

KW flipped on illu after bones posted in the forums about Illu promising 4 teams a top 3 spot. That was clearly the right call since Illu proved their deals couldn't be trusted.

At that point there's no going back because going back would have been settling for something that isn't first.

Thing is we never did though, we knew KW and GOAT would 2v1 us at the end if we stayed with them, so i tried to get lettuce and sea men on board. It's been mentioned with bus, but they also had a 'deal' with Nova to get us out 5th at that point, so that had no validity at all.

I was happy with our leadership for this competition.

They were clear with what they wanted, done us well and for the most part our members put their trust in them.

You can never tell when alliances will or will not turn on you.

Thanks guys and girls for the hard work, effort and hours you all out in

This was my first elimination and I definitely appreciated the effort that leadership made to get everyone in line and working together. As a still relatively new player it was good to see how some of the more experienced players handled the stresses and strategy that come from the elimination event. It was unfortunate that we had to deal with such a stacked team this year but those are the cards you are dealt with sometimes, you just have to make the best of it...which I think for the most part we did.

Obviously there will always be a difference of opinions on how things should have been handled, that kind of drama always comes with positions of leadership. At some point you just have to make the best decision you can and not look back, which I think Euphoria did....I have no regrets on how things ended up.

That being said, Elimination is always a good motivator for new-ish players like myself who realize that to be helpful and not an obvious target on pushes, I have to get stronger and better at combat.

All said, thanks to everyone on KW who gave their all...I really enjoyed getting to know most of you.

    Alric_Von_Drew [2549702]

Why do people believe that the choice was based on "Nova" winning it? It's pretty clear that Dongs were going out next, in 4th or 5th place, and therefore made a call to get a higher position (merit, tokens).

Who f**king cares about Nova? No insult intended, I have no idea who he is, but that's a lot of ego.

    Nova [1570883]

    Whis [1530096]

Someone's sour. We were going out after illu anyway. Why not place higher and piss you off? Best of both worlds imo

    Nova [1570883]

I don’t know where the logic in that is. KW would have been dragged out with ILU.

All you had to do was get Bus to side with you and you would have won. You would have got top 3 either way. Just you would have had a shot at 1st as supposed to accepting 2nd.

If you/Bus had allied against me I’d have dropped Bus first due them to being weaker, so it appears you probably would have got a minimum of 2nd on either route, just one gave you no chance at winning.

Also I’m fine buddy, I enjoy Elimination. I’ll just go back to being inactive after this. I’m sure if it really gets to me I can go and cry in my Mercedes and use my 1st class masters and job contract paying 6 figures after qualifying as tissues.

    Beer_Bear [42111]

Don't be sour that we didnt sing to your tune. Since LW went out goats solo focused us trying to push us out while illu solo focused KW to get them out. Yet you were surprised that after your attempt to keep your main ally alive was failing, your "flip" wasn't accepted by us? You're either a clown or denser than everyone already thinks.
Your only play for first was to go with it, and there was a viable play where you could have come out on top. Who was hitting who before is a complete irrelevancy and just shows once again you took second out of spite rather than logical reasoning.

Like Bus have flipped now, it’s very possible they would have flipped with you and 2v1ed us, winning you the competition.

Don’t be salty that I chose to join Mentos over your Faction of rejects now Beer. There’s a reason despite being so disliked I still get voted in to leadership every year buddy.

Team cupcake won in 2018, it was my first elim and taking 1st was amazing!
Cupcakes was the only year the strongest team didn’t win and won solely on good tactics. I really wish I was apart of it to see it in action, so envious! Snowflakes just rode to 2nd with no hope, lol.

    “Learned from my mistakes”

lmfao you’re the one who got us 5th with such a capable and strong team that could have landed first.

You inability to listen to others and foster trust within is what got us booted for 5th.
You’re as strong as you make the people around you. You failed to do that with your council this year.

In the future, you need to not be so cocky and straight up think whatever you say is best. You have intelligent and successful people on your side, and you used none of them in council. I know I’m not the only one who thinks this way, but I’ll be the only one to say it out loud.

I do hope leading this year allowed you to learn from YOUR mistakes.

    Euphoria [1443076]

You literally gave up after we lost 20 lives. You are a pathetic excuse of a leader and you should never be let anywhere near a council again.

Not to mention you did like no hits since September 16th, well before I removed you. I did listen to my council, your contributions just sucked.

    Thanks :)

Why was he even let near a council/leadership team this time around after what happened last year? Did everyone just have short memories and forget or something? Genuinely curious how that mistake ended up happening again.

hopefully next year no one lets him anywhere near council/leadership ever again, its not fair on the other players.

    Indubitably [2117849]

Cupcakes was the only year the strongest team didn’t win and won solely on good tactics. I really wish I was apart of it to see it in action, so envious! Snowflakes just rode to 2nd with no hope, lol.
It really was amazing. We won after fighting with approx 10 lives for most of the comp. TBH it was smart leadership and a beast mode team that literally fought 24/7. :)

    Nova [1570883]

Your only play for first was to go with it, and there was a viable play where you could have come out on top. Who was hitting who before is a complete irrelevancy and just shows once again you took second out of spite rather than logical reasoning.

Like Bus have flipped now, it’s very possible they would have flipped with you and 2v1ed us, winning you the competition.

Don’t be salty that I chose to join Mentos over your Faction of rejects now Beer. There’s a reason despite being so disliked I still get voted in to leadership every year buddy.
Yes, multiple reasons. But i dont think any of them are the reasons you think. You see therein lies the reason you will not win. You think only you know best. You know everything and as such was banking on everyone playing the game into your hands. But the reality is many other leads were
    1. Smarter than you
    2. More respectful than you.

So while some put up with you, others wanted to and chose to work with us.

Dont be salty everyone didnt see the need to hand you 1st place. Sometimes things dont go to plan. No need to be throwing the toys out the pram.

Btw its so funny that on KWs farewell thread you still feel the need to be the center of attention. Grow up mate.

If you had tickets at the time of writing your novel about your loss, is that really being warriors till the end?

Also, due to this loss report being 30 thousand pages long, i can only imagine you started writing this with 50 tickets left announcing defeat....

I feel like repeating you didnt fight to the end over and over, its clearly a hard concept to understand

    FidelCashflow [1993550]

KW flipped on illu after bones posted in the forums about Illu promising 4 teams a top 3 spot. That was clearly the right call since Illu proved their deals couldn't be trusted.

At that point there's no going back because going back would have been settling for something that isn't first.

    Beer_Bear [42111]

That was clearly the right call but goats didnt also make the same call. Was it a case that they werent one of the promised ones? Or they were hoping to be carried all competition?
I'm guessing Goat was worried about flipping too early and having a target on their back in the aftermath of illu getting out. Tho they waited too long which also pissed people off and caused their demise.

It's always a tough call when dealing with a strong team like illu. Go too early and you're next on the chopping block. Go too late and that team survives long enough to pick up allies of their own who want a top 3 finish.

It's the nature of a competition where today's allies are tomorrow's enemies.

    Thanks :)

    Leafeh [467479]

You are a pathetic excuse of a leader and you should never be let anywhere near a council again.
Why was he even let near a council/leadership team this time around after what happened last year? Did everyone just have short memories and forget or something? Genuinely curious how that mistake ended up happening again.
No one expected much different from him. But between him being a lead or being on council I'll take my chances with the latter.
