    Links are hard to read when editing a forum thread in dark mode. Downright illegible when using software that changes the color temperature of monitor light.

    I know it's not a bug, and those are default link colors, but it still bears improving.

    New buttons are hard to read in dark mode. The current font on a solid black (like at the top and bottom of the buttons) would be readable but the metallic gloss are hard on the visual impairment.

    It seems to be better but I'm not sure if I'm just used to it or there was a change.

    Maybe the alignment of the text? The glare doesn't go straight through it which I believe was my main issue. Perhaps the contrast was adjusted?

    In any case, it seems readable. Thank you for the follow up.

    Noticed the hospitalized by name was black on a black background. In the pic it's up close so it's more legible but from normal distance couldn't hardly tell. Tried switching to light mode and back and remained same black on black, refreshed as well.


    Found same issue on mobile this time with territory wall. Same fixes tried.

    There is no way to fully style the new reCAPTCHA elements, only the wrapper elements around the iframe can be stylized. This was almost-certainly done intentionally, to prevent users from breaking the user profiling logic that makes the new captcha-free checkbox possible. It is possible that Google could implement a limited custom theme API, perhaps allowing you to choose custom colors for existing elements, but it would not expect Google to implement full CSS styling.

    Back again, similar issue as last time (which despite the assurance has not been fixed).

    Ever since the recent transition to the new editor for faction announcements, all links have reverted to vanilla CSS/HTML colours, rendering them illegible in dark mode.

    Under normal conditions this is a 30-second fix tops. However, due to the numerous and seemingly arbitrary editor limitations, it's impossible to fix. Same old, same old.

    I get blocking javascript for security reasons, but why butcher CSS? So many otherwise painfully simple fixes, or random neat styling tricks I try to apply, just get erased upon saving.

    Please just let us add a style tag to our descriptions and utilise CSS styling to its full potential. Thank you.

    EDIT:

    A partial workaround can be achieved by creating a SPAN with your desired text and styling that, then wrapping the result in an A tag (an A tag inside a styled SPAN does not work - has to be SPAN inside A).

    However, even though that changes the link's colour, it doesn't remove its underlining. "text-decoration: none" does not appear to do anything, no matter where it is placed (parent container, link tag or span). And of course we can't adjust the :link, :hover, :visited or :active states, because page-wide style tags are not allowed.

    Also, depending on the chosen link colour, you may need to add a definite background colour to the parent element, as contrast can be an issue when switching between dark and light mode. That or just find a colour that works well-ish in both modes.

    Not a huge deal but I switched to light mode accidentally and found out on the Item Market the item icon stays visible in Light Mode after clicking on it. The item icon disappears completely in Dark Mode.

    Hello bogie, I'm unsure if my current chat issue is because I'm using dark mode. However if you can look at my recent forum post all my chat icons are completely gone. I can still message you like a message but chats are completely gone on my side no icons and they don't pop up chats when I click the button either
