can we please get the Text sizing in the editors the same

Recently when you go to the airport and you in darkmode the colour of the OC warning is to close to the background so you can't see what's written there . You see there is text however there is no way of reading it. Please fix this issue. The red worked well. . Using red would work well for light and dark modes.

I've recently noticed some of my text on dark mode is turning black as well. It isn't an issue on PC because I can read it clearly, but it is a big issue on mobile because its really hard to read.

Its happening on some (not all) forum posts, and when i try to send money to members via the faction page. attached an image here

Hey, I noticed that in dark mode the token shop 1. is pretty loud, and 2. doesn't have a lot of contrast with the white text for award names and background/hairstyle prices on the off-white background

Possible issue with field using dark mode:

Last night I made a newspaper advert for a friend. It was ultimately declined for using an invalid link. Skeletor was kind enough to let me know specifics and I knew I had double checked the link I used in a fresh tab before doing the advertisement. I went back through the steps. Put in my 7 days in the field that has "7-90" suggested in what looks to be phantom text. Then I go to the link field which looks to have the link to my profile suggested in phantom text. I paste the faction link I want to use and then check using without dark mode.



What I see after changing to light mode. What looked to be phantom text was actually valid text and I pasted the faction link I wanted within what was already there (my profile link).



Seeing that this can be an issue for dark mode users, perhaps it is possible for the URL field to be empty by default? Or maybe some type of ghost suggestion as to what to use instead of an actual link being present?

Not sure if it's already in here but GAK backgrounds for the small inventory picture are white in darkmode

The letter spacing / shadow / styles on the text makes this pretty much impossible for me to read underneath each weapon mod

Page flashes white when navigating to new page or refreshing. Busting is going to make me foam at the mouth any day now.
Probably not a dark mode specific issue, but only noticeable while using it.

edit: Seems fixed!? on Firefox. If Torn fixed the issue, my eyes are happy, so thank you.

The blue font for Forum search results need to be updated to make it more legible.

I noticed a few days ago, around the time the new icons came out, there were many issues with images on many pages, such as the casino (for example the Torn logo is now white and Leslie almost looks like his colors are sort of inverted. Figured it was obvious enough it would be fixed soon enough, but at this point thought I'd go ahead and post anyway.

For dark mode, when someone sends a mail and has highlighted words/sentences, it makes those words/sentences impossible to read. Only way to read it is by highlighting it yourself with your mouse or however you do it. That doesn't seem right.

Gratz on the new Dark Mode, seems like someone found my CSS :) no problems with that, in part it became a chore to get to some of those CSS objects after every update (it was originally only 11 lines of CSS - according to the readme).

I recently added Tampermonkey to apply a "fix" to a page I use regularly, and remembering I had done some Torn userscripts (incl. DarkTheme) I thought I'd test it and see how good/bad/soso it was after 3 (nope 4) years of abandonment .. (thats how I know the Dark Mode is based on my CSS, when I turn off the script in dark mode the colors dont change ;)

Anyway, I read the first page, and yeah theres a few fixes need in certain places, but the biggest difference I noticed is the lack of page backgrond image, its gone. If you check the first page and scroll down to the post with "checking you browser" you will notice the background image (that used to be in the normal/light theme).

That was one of the first things I did, make a nice dark version of that background. I'm looking at it right now and it looks cool, and it reminded me why I did that change almost immediately "plain colors look cuc", especially when the rest of Torn has lots "feel" to the theme.

So please add this dark background I made 3 (4) years ago (`bg_regular_dark.jpg`):

I must say, I prefer the black text on the grey/gray background (you'll notice the HaLLoWeeN tag below doesn't work well in Dark Mode). That brings me to some of the "fix me" listed in the 1st page, that have already been made (like the text color). There is an asthetic to a dark mode, and that can be different for everyone. Personally I think you made a mistake by agreeing to change the text to White, beause now the contrast is too high.

So just a note, not everything (color and contrast wise) needs changing (ie. the person that said the Newspaper was "totally unreadable" - nope, thats just an opinion, not a fact - I prefered it that way). People might remember a similar reaction when the theme was updated about 5-6 years ago.

For instance, part of the success of my CSS effort was that I did not touch th color of the test (that is set in Regular/Normal/Light mode). The guys that asked for it, and was testing it said "the hyperlinks look wrong". I agreed they look wierd, but I refused to change their color because their mouseover was the perfect color, and thats what you do with HREF's, you mouse over it to see where it goes, at the end of the day HREF's were mostly in forum posts (and sig) and it wasn't like they were invisible (medium blue on medium grey is not a good contrast ratio).

when entering code from my mobile for the 2 factor authentication the text is black on a black box and so could be difficult to get right
