if you mean the grocery chains, no, they dont take anything when donating through them, other than the chance to advertise about it (in usa and canada, at least) afaik, legally the whole donation must be passed along

I think we can all agree that donating to a charity that you’ve researched is a good thing. I think most of us can also agree that the op and some staff members have ran their mouths when they didn’t need to. With that said as long as people are aware of a good cause it’s a net positive I’d say. It is natural to be skeptical, but there appears to be little to no evidence of Ched doing this for personal gain. If you want in-game benefits then donate through Torn, otherwise donate directly or don’t donate at all. No one is going to force you to do anything, and from what sugarvalves and Ched, (and I believe bogie as well) said, they will be changing the rewards to be mostly if not all cosmetic. So the bottom line is that a charity hopefully gets more support than it would otherwise. So long as we know which ones we’re supporting if we choose to donate I’m all for it.
