I have had little sleep the last couple of days, so my brain is failing me a little while trying to compare Munster BB with MCS BB. As MCS is non-sellable, it cannot be done based on the value of the benefit. But luckily...both give energy.

I kindly request those who have an aptitude with numbers, to help me out which gives most E for the money invested.

    MCS BB:
    Cost: 196M-ish
    Payout: 100E

    MUN BB
    Cost: 2.16B
    Payout: 6 cans (max 150E)

Obviously, the first BB of MCS is a better buy than MUN (Don't need a calculator to see that). But at what point (which increment) does MUN become more interesting than MCS (when looking at energy only)? Is there actually a moment when MUN becomes better yielding?

You have to go through quite a few tiers to get there.

4 tiers of MUN alone adds up to 32.4b for an average of 600e. The same energy from MCS costs around 12.3b or so, and doesn’t use up booster CD either. There’s literally no use in bothering to calculate this. Just buy cans and use them instead.

MCS will always be better energy yield... because each increment is the same effect (double price +1 payout) there will always be the same difference in their yields :)

also worth looking at potential loss in going through the MUN route, assuming you average 2% profit per month on stocks thats 648,000,000 enough to cover munster/santa for the month.

If you're just comparing the Energy to dollars, even the 3rd MCS is better than the 1st MUN. The 1st MUN is slightly cheaper than the 4th MCS.

    Math:
    1st MUN: 2.16b = 150E, so 1.44b per 100E

    1st MCS: 196m < 1.44b
    2nd MCS: 392m < 1.44b
    3rd MCS: 784m < 1.44b
    4th MCS: 1.568b > 1.44b

    See?
My brain was active enough to realize the answer would be quite simple, but somehow I got caught up in Andyman-mode, making all sorts of complex models (except that mine didn't make sense).

ignore benefit blocks and simply play the market for cash and use profits to buy cans... 5 cans of xmass provide 150e at a little less than 20m
