    Hello fellow shareholders in Torn!

I have been noticing the fall in the price of FHC, EDVD and many other items(dividend items) losing value since implementation of Stock market 3.0. Primarily the prices of FHC has fallen from an average of 13ish million to a low of about 11.9m recently. It pains me and am sure every shareholder who has invested in the stocks for dividends is experiencing losses due to the price crash.

To rectify and support the falling prices, I would like to request fellow shareholders to NOT SELL a FHC for under 12.5m. Doing this will artificially prop up prices as supply for traders and consumers in TC would dry up. This will protect our interests and will ensure that our ROI will not reduce drastically. The same can be done for other items like EDVDs, Drug packs etc.

    How will people be affected?
Traders- they will not be affected beyond short term as the supply shock will not last beyond 2 days(give or take a day).
Consumers- I am sorry, but you will have to pay the old prices. You can't consume at the cost of us losing our ROI...
Shareholders(Investors)- We get our old price back.

But this is only possible if almost all the shareholders choose to act on this. Initially, traders and bazaar won't buy them at your price. But a few days to weeks of hoarding should correct the market.

    Thank you for your time,
    Your average Stock Investor,
    Lordalpha

I'm not a long-time trader or investor but hoarding will only artificially increase the price for a short period of time. An increase in supply along with an increase in suppliers will naturally cause a fall in price. It's the same thing as someone buying up all the fhcs worth 11.9 mill to 12.5 mill. Sure, the price might go back up for a day but eventually due to the large supply, players on the market will eventually undercut each other to get their fhcs sold bringing the price back to normal. It's not a great long-term solution unless ''everyone'' hoards for a long period of time but when they all decide to sell, competition will naturally lower prices.

100% correct...and I have stated this above in my post. Everyone needs to hoard for a while and agree not to sell under 12.5m. But you are right, this mostly won't work as people will tend to not follow the rules and will undercut :(

    Won't work at all..it will be a never-ending cycle.
If you hoard all fhc like you said, what price do u expect to get when reseliing? 13m?? You hoard for 12mil and resell at 13mil (just 8.5% profit at best). And how long do u expect it would take to reach the old price? A month or two?? I don't think it will be that short coz fhc are coming in every week regularly(unlike old system)

Investing in stock markets can make more profit than 8.5% in two months. So, why should we dump our money into hoarding fhcs?

Don't worry about drug packs. Unless xanax price drops down hugely (which never happens before), it will stay stable around 4.2mil.

And for edvd, those in circulation comes mainly from companies, not from stocks. With so many adult novelties, I simply think it's better to convince the AN workers rather than shareholders.

you can't control the masses in this kind of way

there are simply too many players with differing priorities, or goals, or motivations

different players care about different things, and at different times
