Hi all, just want to answer some FAQs here in case they may be of use to someone. I'll update it as I think of / see more :)

Q1) How does the time progression towards benefits work?

Passive benefits require 7 days of time progression to activate. THIS IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER - DO NOT ACCIDENTALLY SELL SYS, TGP, TCP!

Active dividend benefits require 7 days or 31 days of time progression to mature before collection.

Time progression is added when the daily cron runs at midnight (00.00 TCT) each day. The cron has to run through the entire playerbase, starting with the lower IDs. It may take up to half an hour to get to the youngest accounts!

This means if you buy a benefit of FHG at 23.59 TCT, minutes later this will display "Ready in 6 days".

Q2) What is an "increment" and how do they work?

The number of increments of a particular dividend stock you own refers to the number of benefits you receive for each cycle of the payout frequency. If you own one increment of FHG, you will receive 1 FHC per week. If you own two increments of FHG, you will receive 2 FHCs per week.

Q2b) How much do increments cost?

    Increments double in cost successively.

    - The first increment of FHG costs 2,000,000 shares.

    - The second increment of FHG costs 4,000,000 shares, for a total of 6,000,000 shares.

    - The third increment of FHG costs 8,000,000 shares, for a total of 14,000,000 shares. So on and so forth.

Q2c) How many increments can I buy?

There is no maximum to the number of increments you may own.

Q2d) Can I buy increments for every stock?

Increments may only be purchased for active dividend stocks - NOT on passive benefits, such as WSU (education time reduction), TCB (increased bank interest), TGP (company advertising boost).

Q2e) What happens if I own one increment of a dividend stock, and then purchase another?

If you have not yet made time progression on the previous increment that you owned, it will be as if you bought multiple increments at the same time. When the daily cron runs at midnight (see Q1), time progression towards the multiple dividends will begin.

If you have made time progression on the previous increment that you owned, this will not reset, and you will not make any progression toward the additional increment until the first one fully matures. An example:

    - You have owned one increment of FHG for 3 days. You now decide to purchase a second increment of FHG.

    - After 4 more days, you will receive 1 FHC.

    - After a further 7 days, you will receive 2 FHC.

You can choose to sell and re-buy both increments if you believe it to be worth it. This will reset the time progression so that it begins towards maturing multiple dividends.

Q2f) Can I collect dividends from a multiple-increment block separately?

No, when you collect a payout from a benefit block you will collect all benefits at once. For example if you have 4 increments in MCS, you will collect 400e simultaneously.

Q3) Can I "stack" stock dividends?

Alternatively, Can I save up multiple weeks worth of dividends and cash them all in at once?

No, you can't do this. Once a dividend has matured, you must collect it before you can begin progression towards another dividend.

Since the time progression cron runs at 00.00 TCT, you have a 24 hour window to collect without "losing" time progression.

If you do not collect a dividend, it will just sit there waiting to be collected - it will not be lost.

Q4) What happens if I collect energy from MCS or happiness from EVL, and I go over the maximum?

This energy or happiness WILL BE WASTED. Two example scenarios:

    - If you have 3 increments in MCS (300e dividend), and collect when you are stacked with 800e, you will fill up to 1,000e and WASTE 100e

    - If you have 11 increments in MCS (1100e dividend), you will WASTE at least 100e.

Q5) What happens with cash dividends that I withdraw? Do I get a check?

Any cash dividend you withdraw WILL BE DEPOSITED IN YOUR HAND. Be careful.

The same goes for selling stocks, this money is immediately deposited in your hand.

Q6) What is the fee that applies to my sales?

From the 20th April, any sale that you make will take a fee of 0.1% -- this is 1/1000th as a fraction. For example:

    - You sell exactly $1,000,000,000 worth of shares. The fee for this is $1,000,000, so you will receive $999,000,000

This fee applies to the TOTAL amount you are selling, not just your profit.

Q6c) Is there also a fee for buying shares?

There is NO FEE FOR BUYING.

Q7) Do I have merge shares into a single block in order to receive a benefit?

Its true you can select different purchases of shares in order to "merge" them into a single line of data. However this is NOT necessary in order to receive a benefit from this.

For example, if you purchase 1,000,000 shares of FHG, and then another 500,000, and then a further 500,000, you will receive 1 FHC per week. It is unnecessary to have purchased these at the same time, or to have merged the purchases.

Nice this should 100% be a sticky to stop so many question threads in the coming weeks/months as stock benefits start to pay out and get lost if not claimed.

Any idea on how much the new payouts will give. Basically is BAG still gonna offer up 1000 rounds of special ammo to primary or secondary?
Because if that’s the case Gunshops got the biggest nerf ever...

That is one question I've been asked that I'm not sure on! Looking forward to the answer in a couple of days. I have a benefit myself but I'm lagging a couple of days behind so will need someone else to chime in on Tuesday :)

Time progression is added when the daily cron runs at midnight (00.00 TCT) each day. This means if you buy a benefit of FHG at 23.59 TCT, 1 minute later this will display "Ready in 6 days".

Mine showed "ready in one day" at 1800 and now at 0013 it still says "ready in one day"

It runs on a cron, presumably starts at midnight but has to go through the userbase by ID.

I got my MCS payout at 00.12 TCT, someone older got theirs a few minutes before this.

It is unnecessary to have purchased these at the same time, or to have merged the purchases.
bypass cost by buying in 999 increments?

The dividends shouldn't stop ticking, ever, if you don't collect them.
