Steve Rogers : [America's ass is in a PSA being shown during detention]
So... you got confused. You screwed up. You don't know how to look at Stock 3.0. The question is, how are you gonna make things right?

Since Stock 3.0 removes the option for trading stocks with player, in return for allowing to sell the stock immediately like real life, we should view stocks differently. In the past, some of us will have the mindset of "Oh, how much do I have to wait before the dividends start to pay for it's own?" This is not true now, since you can always cash out immediately instead of "9999th in Queue".

    P.s : There's actually more than 3 increments ( Tier 3) in stocks.

Anyways, I have made two reference tables for two different types of players to have a vague idea of what to invest in.
    • If you're new and you have not filled your investment bank yet, please come back after having 2 billion in it!!! (Shortcut to bank)
    • If your investment bank is full but not wealthy enough to afford a few stock increments afterward, you may reference the Blue table.
    • If you're a multi-billionaire and you want to make as much as you can out of your buck, please check the Green table instead.

For people who don't understand what the two tables meant, the closest analogy to it will be :

"In an alternative world where this post is talking about fuel generators,

the blue table is sorted by generators with the best fuel economy.

Whereas the green table is sorted by generators that generate the most wattage.
    "

This is just a reference sheet!!!!!!!
Warning: This Table will no longer be accurate and valid if the stock price fluctuates too much. If I made a calculation mistake, please let me know.

If you're reading the blue table, purchasing stocks from top to bottom will allow you to make the most out of your limited budget. Be flexible, if you can't afford Grain T1, you can always skip it for TCT T2 coming back to it.

If you're reading the green table, working from top to bottom will allow you to make as much money as fast as possible through dividends.

For mathaholic who wants to validate the maths :
    Cost = BB cost * 1 (Tier 1) // BB cost * 3 (Tier 2) // BB cost * 7 (Tier 3) [Thank you for Lanc69 [2384768] spotting my mistake, it's *7 not *8 for Tier 3]
Dividend = Dividend * Tier level
Days = No calculations, just facts
    Dividend/Day = As description
    Dividend/31days/1m = ((Dividend/Day)/ Cost)* 31 days * 1,000,000 ( round to 1mil)

Again Steve Rogers : "Hi, I'm Captain America. Here to talk to you about one of the most valuable traits a stock player can have. Patience. Sometimes, patience is the key to victory. Sometimes, it leads to very little, and it seems like it's not worth it, and you wonder why you waited so long for something so disappointing... How many more of these?"

    Thank you for watching!

Thank you, I have forgot to consider the fact all these dividends are paid in different time frames. I will fix it right now!

Not going to lie a bit pissed off since at least two stocks I was getting dividends on I no longer do. If you are going to change things then amounts we had should have been adjusted accordingly.

These tables are made by screenshotting an excel file, but I am not sure how to paste it in "Table format" sorry!

How did you calculate bank interest? Did you consider 10/10 merit + tcb?

Max merit, I have excluded the 10% bonus from TCB, as it's no longer a stock that can be easily obtained ( stock lending is the new history)

Most of the time the 3month bank interest hovers around 19~20%, I just took the maximum to make the numbers a little bit cleaner! Rest assure that even if the interest is at 19%, investment bank is still going to beat stocks by a huge margin

It never was. Max banking is still the #1 option, pre or post Stock 3.0

Why would you call blue table "for poor" when very first item on it (FHG) costs 1.8B? Proper "for poor" table would be a list by cheapest BB to most expensive (TCT).

    • If you're new and you have not filled your investment bank yet, please come back after having 2 billion in it!!!
In terms of BB, possibly. In terms of making a profit (more important), I would argue that Stock Market still can make you more money than bank interest, provided that you can buy-sell stocks efficiently (but I guess this is not the point of your post).

In any case, great effort, R+

I did mention that, if the one specific stock is too hard to achieve, they should skip it for now and come back later!

"Be flexible, if you can't afford Grain T1, you can always skip it for TCT T2 coming back to it."

And you're correct about the point of this post, I am aware that you could make alot more money from doing aggressive trading ( what I am currently doing ), however there aren't a lot of players who can afford to stare at a Torn Stock market chart for a considerable amount of time. Hence I made this table for those audience to make the money out of their money in the most efficient way.

Anyhow, thanks for your 2 cents

I don't think your MBC calculation is correct.

    dividend/day = 2.285M and total cost is 2.163B

    2.285M/2.164B=.0010559

.001056*31DAYS*1M = $32,730 is profit per month per 1M invested

Versus what you have recorded, $7,400.
