Does this indicate that we will change from inactive to active for all stocks we previously held benefit blocks for? For example, if we had a block that qualified for the benefit in the old system, that is now showing "inactive", will it change in a week? Aren't all stock benefits "passive"?

From the announcement: 
- Passive stock benefits will take 7 days before they become active and cannot be further increased by doubling share requirements. All previously active stock benefits will carry over from the last system.

no. inactive should mean you don't have enough of the stock to qualify for bb.. when you have enough it will show "in progress".

I like the layout EXCEPT that there's no sorting or reordering options.

So the millions spent to get BBs don't matter, and now we need to invest 10x in some cases for the same BB? 

Also, the issue I see with this system is that if prices are based on real life stocks, then the purchase and sell rate in torn will not impact value at all.

I really like the system, it gives you possibility to manage your own stocks not at the will of the players of torn that decide to stock up or dump it. You can do it real time, you can scale your earnings, you are rewarded with how much attention you pay to it and it is no longer a secret thing that you need to arrange with others to make money of.

Yes, starter point can be higher for some, but it has decreased for others.

Also no need for an history of previous prices as it will be guided by the new system which is independent...

I would welcome a my portfolio so I don't have to scroll the page to check them all.

New system is going to cause a massive stock market crash.  New dividend system is a joke.

Why is it that they can't fix the most basic of problems, but they have no problem messing up what everyone already likes? Just leave it alone and listen to the players for once! Now I have to spend 1.8 billion dollars to get a three million dollar mansion. What moron came up with this idiotic system?

I'd like to see a 'portfolio' developed where you can sort the order yourself, but apart from that I think it's a great change!

Takes away the idea of a real stock market. Buying a guaranteed day of pay back yet the price for pay back is now insane on 80 percent. Takes away the trading aspect unlimited shares available?? 

Another easy way for people to sit on money with little to no risk if you pay attention there goes yet again mugging etc. 

Every time I'm here for major changes it litteraly just kills the whole games vibe. 

Liked it a lot better not knowing my payouts times etc... Maybe should of fixed the codes to make it more proper the old way vs trashing the whole point. 

Also f**k you for taking away what was a BB. That's kinda f**ked up for all of us who had a BB in certain things some who already lost the hundreds of millions.

I would suspect a bunch of those qol features will come from someone like torntools, tornstats or yata in a few weeks as they adapt to the new system.

When you click on the "dividend" tab for stock it shows how many you need to buy for the next block hope that helps a little.

Imagine when the global recession kicks in...

With this upgrade or whatever happen one of my stocks is not showing. I have Symbiotic and torn city investments, but the second one is not showing.

even if i didn't get the ability i get a pi i should at that much be able to get castles...HRG f**ked me...

Actually the multiblock tiering is extremely punitive to rich players with some seriously diminishing returns.
