The GD discussion on "Who are the 12 most wealthiest" made me curious about how much assets I had accumulated in the years I've played. Well, I can say it surprised me, but that is not the topic here.

What shocked me, was to see how much WLT is trading for nowadays. I bought them for the special, as I figured the faster travelling would be quite nice. Now, this is years ago, so I haven't given it much thought anymore

But now, I am not sure. Okay, it's great to be travelling faster. Especially when flying to the further destinations, it's a big difference (Africa being 2:29 instead of 4:57 (and the PI being 3:28). It means I can do one trip more per day.

But then I saw the current value of my 9 million shares...

    Wind Lines Travel: 5.128.256.980,00

Holy crap! How am I supposed to earn that back?

Part of the value is in the realization you can probably make most of your money back if you want to sell it

I tend to buy the bb for personal use when its low, and sell when its high (hey, who can resist the $1B+ profit just by owning the block?)..

I love the bb personally, in warring its great fun to catch people up overseas and leave them there stranded in hospital.

Although I don't do a lot of flying myself, I still find shorter flights to rehab rock! (I spent way too much on BCTs making rehab a 2hr round trip oops) So for me, WLT is 100% worth it unless you have just won a small fortune.

WLT is never worth the bb block price to have the benefit. It's only worth buying when it's low priced as a block to make money from it.

I figure the more you fly the more it's worth to you. Being able to get a nearly guaranteed return on your investment in it is also quite valuable.

Well, it would have to earn you more than the cayman interest on the pricetag before you start making a profit.
