Just in case you were holding on to a belief the performance of certain stocks was tied to in-game events, as has been professed, I submit to you the example of TCHS since RESPO. We all know since RESPO's release the war system has basically ground to a halt due to the new interface, inability to declare/claim, factions waiting for the new attack system, players leaving or cutting back activity, etc. Arguably, this has been the worst period for people being hospitalized in years, yet here is TCHS:

A stock is not 100% related to the influence listed. For all we know that counts for only 10% of the influence while the rest is an algorithm that makes the stocks fluctuate. While the amount of people in hospitals has gone down due to lower people playing also we have seen less educations being taken along with less money placed into a bank account. Adding on other falling values of stocks the algorithm of the market could dictate that some stocks should go up in price to prevent people from mass selling and causing every stock to crash harder. Maybe if some stocks are crashing then the influences are ignored massively altogether.

TL;DR: The stock market runs on a weird algorithm we know little about and Ched can directly influence it at whim if he wants to.

    Precisely!

So think again when investing... If ched is low on donation money he might just rig a crash forcing people to sell and buy DPs to make back lost revenue.

    Same goes with casino odds....

(This post was satirical of course)

Dude - stocks have NEVER been directly linked to anything in the game. Do NOT take the glossy descriptions as they read.

"Wheres your proof??" I hear you shout ?

Well for a longtime I have asked about this - even BEFORE RESPO..There are two shares that have the same description.

ISTC "The performance of this stock relies upon the amount of people currently in education courses. " - spiking all over the shop and on the rise.

    and

WSSB "The performance of this stock relies upon the amount of people currently in education courses. " - currently at an all time low in stock price

If these shares were linked as they say, they would reflect a similar trend..

But its a game not real life :P

I am gonna "thumbs up your post though"
