The Bazaar Directory is now available. You can access it from the City page or via the top-right links on any Bazaar or the Item Market. Rather than simply pointing to the cheapest listings, the Directory is designed to serve both buyers and sellers, helping buyers build a network of reputable vendors, while enabling sellers to expand their customer base over time.

First, Bazaars can now be favorited. If you find a seller you like who routinely sells what you need at fair prices, click the star button to save them for future reference. You can then sort your favorites alphabetically, or by date of last visit, last purchase, or when you favorited them.

Second, the Directory includes panels that showcase Bazaars based on their performance over the past week. These panels give exposure to those who put effort into their bazaars, treating them as proper, personal shops rather than a free Item Market for anything and everything. By targeting certain niches, specializing in specific goods, or simply being a consistent reputable seller, bazaars are rewarded with a placement in the directory so that new customers can find them easily.

We’ve provided the community with the tools to make something out of their Bazaars. The hope is that this will lead to a whole new ecosystem in Torn. While this is still an experimental feature that will take time to grow into something meaningful, we hope it will eventually foster a diverse, genuinely useful Directory of Bazaars. We remain committed to ensuring that Bazaars fulfill a distinct role independent of the Item Market, and welcome community feedback regarding changes or additions.
