The Halloween event typically starts on October 25, with the exact time indicated in your calendar.

    Earning Treats:

    • You receive treats for defeating players.

    • Defends don’t earn treats.

    • The base chance for receiving treats is 35% and increases by +5% with each basket upgrade, up to a max of 80%; and can increase by +20% when using scary outfit and weapon (non-stackable AND having unlocked their perks).

    • On average, you receive 1.5 treats per attack. You can earn 1 to 120, or 1000 treats at once in the same attack, the odds of more treats increase with better basket upgrades. For more details on the number of treats per attack, check this post.

    • The level of the target, their stats, the outcome (leave, mug, hospitalize) don’t impact the chances of receiving treats.

    Obtaining a Basket:

Baskets become available to purchase starting at 12 TCT on the day the event starts. Purchase a basket from Sally’s Sweet Shop for $35 (1k baskets are restocked every 5 minutes). You can still buy a basket after having met the 100 daily city shop purchase limit. The basket is a permanent item and upgrades carry over every year.

    Halloween Basket Upgrades:

    • Spooky: 0 treats, 0 total

    • Creepy: 5 treats, 5 total

    • Freaky: 10 treats, 15 total

    • Frightful: 25 treats, 40 total

    • Haunting: 50 treats, 90 total

    • Shocking: 100 treats, 190 total

    • Terrifying: 250 treats, 440 total

    • Horrifying: 500 treats, 940 total

    • Petrifying: 1000 treats, 1940 total

    • Nightmarish: 2500 treats, 4440 total

    • Apocalyptic: Only obtained by summoning M’aol

Note: The basket upgrades automatically after you’ve earned the number of treats listed.

    Honors:

    • Phantastic - Upgrade your Halloween Basket to Frightful

    • Something Humerus - Upgrade your Halloween Basket to Terrifying

    • Oh My Gourd! - Upgrade your Halloween Basket to Nightmarish

    Perks to unlock: (in order)

    94c85fdc-acc8-4738-b84e-ea9157389bcd-3375236.png

    Notes:
Step 7 to 8 takes approximately an entire event’s worth of attacking.

The 1100 treats gained when unlocking #8 count towards the basket upgrade progression.

    Unlock order:

    1. I See Dead People – 3 treats (3 total) – +10% chance of receiving a treat when wearing scary clothing

    2. Here’s Johnny – 5 treats (8 total) – +10% chance of receiving a treat when ending with a scary weapon

    3. Doubler – 25 treats (33 total) – 20% chance of doubling treats after an attack

    4. Tripler – 50 treats (83 total) – 10% chance of tripling treats after an attack

    5. Quadrupler – 75 treats (158 total) – 5% chance of quadrupling treats after an attack

    6. Cat in Hell – 13 treats (171 total) – 1 in 500,000 chance per attack of instantly receiving 1,000 treats

    7. Quintupler – 100 treats (271 total) – 1% chance of quintupling treats after an attack

    8. Shadow Of Doubt – 1000 treats (1271 total) – Immediately grants 1,100 treats

    9. Multipack – 180 treats (1451 total) – 2% chance consumables upgrade to multipacks on exchange

    10. Deal With The Devil – 320 treats (1771 total) – 3% chance consumables upgrade to boosters/specials on exchange

    15. Nightcrawler – 45 treats (2266 total) – Unlocks medium-tier energy drink (Can of Munster)

    16. It’s Alive – 90 treats (2356 total) – Unlocks high-tier energy drink (Can of Red Cow)

    17. Cashback – 230 treats (2586 total) – Refunds 10% of exchanged treats

    18. Candyman – 5 treats (2591 total) – Unlocks medium-tier candy (Bag of Bloody Eyeballs)

    19. Sweet Release – 10 treats (2601 total) – Unlocks high-tier candy (Bag of Chocolate Truffles)

    20. Cold Sweat – 170 treats (2771 total) – +1 nerve per treat exchanged

    21. Exchange all treats from here! Exchange 180 treats (or less) -- make sure you have no energy when you do (since you get 5 energy per treat, and 1 treat for every 10 exchanged; 180 exchanged treats effectively provides the equivalent of 200 exchanged treats and 1,000 energy, which is the max energy you can hold at any given time)

Important Note: Treats carry over every year. Don't click 'exchange all treats' at the end of the event till you've finished the other upgrades.

    Finding Targets to Attack:

    • Use FF Scouter to estimate if the target will be easy to defeat.

    • Donator status gives access to Advanced Search, search for inactive players to defeat.

    • Claim bounties

    Obtaining Energy:

    • Xanax

    • Point Refills

    • Energy Drinks

    • Featherly Hotel Coupon

    • Green Easter Eggs

    • Seasonal Newsletter’s +250 Energy

    • Revitalize RW weapon (19%+ or lower percentages with better baskets). Check this post for more.

    • Donator or subscriber status to increase energy regain

    • Limit travel to not be hospitalized abroad (people will be attacking a lot!)

    • Company Perks (Note: you can only exchange 100 job points max per day in energy providing perks - doesn't apply for E-drinks):
      • 7* Candle Shop: 5E for 1 jp
      • 10* Farm: 7E for 1 jp
      • 1* Furniture Store: 3E for 1jp
      • 10* Game Shop: 5E for 1 jp (plus 1 nerve and 50H)
      • 1* Pub: 3E for 1 jp
      • 1* Restaurant: 3E for 1 jp
      • 10* Grocery Store: 1 premium E-drink for 12 jp
      • 10* Sweet Shop: 1 premium E-drink for 15 jp
    • Helpful Books:

      • Book : Higher Daddy, Higher! Provides = +20% energy regeneration for 31 days.

      • Book : Fuelling Your Way To Failure = Doubles energy drink effects for 31 days.

      • Book : Ugly Energy = Increases maximum energy (including energy refills) to 250 for 31 days (Pair this with FHCs!)

    Why Participate?

Halloween is a very profitable event in the long run. After you have maxed the recommended upgrades, you are likely to make around $40m profits per 10 attacks (1 xanax). You also earn xp that contributes towards leveling up. Try to chain when attacking, which gives the faction respect!

    Scary Clothes:

    • Kabuki Mask
    • Ginger Kid Mask
    • Scarred Man Mask
    • Psycho Clown Mask
    • Nun Mask
    • Bloody Apron
    • Head Bandage
    • Medieval Helmet

    Scary Weapons:

    • Axe
    • Chainsaw
    • Bone Saw

!! The last hit needs to be using one of these weapons !!

Note: The listed weapons and clothes only include ones that cost less than $10m as of September 2025. The “I See Dead People” effect doesn’t stack with wearing multiple spooky clothes.

    2026 Halloween

Weapons were removed as part of Travel 2.0 changes. Traveling with weapons is officially back when traveling (Source).

You can also take items from torn with you.

When chasing the NPCs, take the Crystalline Falcata and Halloween temps if you plan to use them, as well as medical items, for the bare minimum, or buy medical items abroad. Take a Xanax too if your cooldown will end before landing.

    Nice guide!

Are there any guidelines for when it’s most optimal to exchange treats?

I think I read somewhere that the number should be a multiple of 10 — like 30, 40, 50, etc. Is that correct?

And is there a minimum number you need to exchange, in order to have a chance at getting the “big” prizes like Feathery Hotel Coupons, Business Class Tickets, and Casino Passes?

Max out the basket first. After that, I haven't found an optimal number to exchange, with the only suggestion being exchanging 200 treats at a time if you own the Dark Power upgrade. The dark power upgrade provides +5E per treat exchanges, so 200 180 would provide 1k E, which is the max E you can hold at a time.

I'm not at the point of exchanging treats so I haven't tested it myself and I can't find a guide that answers the question. But from a bit of skimming through people's exchange results, the RNG seems to favor anywhere between 60-100 minimum. Given maximizing Dark energy would mean exchanging at every 200 180 treats, then that might be the ideal point to aim for. Though if someone more experience could confirm, it would be better. (Edit: 180 is more ideal, see the edits below for an explanation)

    27182e8b-c4e0-4319-b2b2-7a562bef6ffb-3375236.png

Edit: More information I could find. Source

Some considerations for exchanging treats :

    - Dark power (Upgrade n11) gives you 5 energy for every treat exchanged. You can store maximum 1000 energy so the ideal time is to exchange at no more than 200 treats collected.

    - Freebie ( Upgrade n12 ) gives you 1 Treat every 10 exchanged. This means if you exchange at 180, it is like you are exchanging 180+18 = 198 treats for 990 total energy. If you want to maximime your energy, Exchange at 180 treats.

    - Cashback (Upgrade n17) gives you back 10% of your total treats after you exchange them. This means with 180 treats, you receive prizes as 198 treats but immediately there will be another 18 treats in your basket.

Anything between 10 and 180 is good to exchange. Ideally every increment of 10 below 180.

Play with your natural energy regen and your schedule.

Apparently there are no bonuses or maluses about rewards based on how many treats you exchange other than dark power limitation of 1000E
