Fastest Way to Achieve Level 15 by King_Taurus

 

Background: Reaching level 15 is important because it will open the doors to being able to fly and make millions daily. It is a great source of income. I got to level 15 in 8 days. I have never played Torn before nor did I know what I was getting myself into. I managed to find my steps very easily reaching level 15. With some time and dedication, you can reach level 15 easily and quickly. Since it was my first time playing, it wasn't fully optimized but now I am here to give you my fully optimized version of my path. This will be the best way to set yourself up for success. Step 1: Cash is King -

Cash is very important in Torn. You need it to survive. Without it, you'll just be a facebook ad level 1 thug. If you are a newbie, the fastest way to make cash is to sell yourself. The community calls it something odd but really you are just selling losses to a stronger opponent. They will ask you to attack them and purposely lose.

This should NOT be your permanent source of income and you should only get the money you need to reach level 15 as you will be opened to much better ways of making income afterwards.

 

Step 2: What To Do With Your Cash as a Newbie -

Once you have enough cash, the first thing you should do with your money is rent a better living space. The end goal is to live in a Private Island (PI) full-time but that may be too expensive to rent as a newbie so renting one of the previous 3 options will suffice. Don't plan your stay here to long. Just to help you achieve level 15. You can find it in the quick links tab in the city called "Estate Agents" but here is a link to get there quicker: https://www.torn.com/properties.php?step=rentalmarket.

Renting one of these options will raise your happy by the thousands. You should be able to find a base Palace to rent for 7 days for $500k with a Happy of 1500. If you can't, then a base Ranch with 1200 Happy will suffice which go for $600k for 100 days (you can find cheaper for shorter days if you search the pages). Then you can upgrade the staff to increase your Happy even more. Overall that should only take 2 losses to be able to make this purchase. 

 

Step 3: After Renting a Better Living Space - 

Once you rent your new living space, you will see your Happy bar regenerating. Naturally, this will take a lot of time for it to reach it's max. You can speed up the process by eating chocolate. Once you eat the chocolate, you will see an icon called "Booster Cooldown". Eating chocolate adds time to your booster cooldown and once it reaches it's max time, you will no longer be able to eat more chocolate until the cooldown decrease below the max. You can find cheap chocolate at the Sweet Shop in the city: https://www.torn.com/shops.php?step=candy. Or you can search the item market: https://www.torn.com/imarket.php#/p=market&cat=candy. Try to regenerate your happy to max as fast as you can.

 

Happy is very important as it affects many aspects of the game. Most notably, it affects your gym gains. The more happy you have, the more stats you gain in the gym. For the sake of reaching level 15 quickly, train a few times in the gym to get yourself strong enough to attack. You can train by using your naturally regenerated Energy (E) in the gym or if you have left over cash from selling losses, you can do Happy Jumps (HJ) which is a training method to increase gym gains.  Here is the HJ Guide forum link: https://www.torn.com/forums.php#/p=threads&f=61&t=16287997&b=0&a=0.  Try to achieve 500-1k minimum in each battle stat.

 

Step 4: After Reaching Stat goals -

Once you reach the minimum battle stats, you are ready to start attacking. You can find easy target to defeat here: https://www.torn.com/forums.php#/p=threads&f=61&t=16034448&b=0&a=0&to=18301173.  Or you can set yourself up to get ahead of the game by using https://www.torntargets.com/ which allows you to put in an API key to find targets with similar battle stats to defeat. You can even set the targets it searches for when you are on a debuff to make your targets easier. The API key can be found in your settings. 

 

Step 5: Attacking - 

Attacking provides you with the most Experience to level up. You will want to equip yourself with weapons to make your fights easier. Weapons can be found in the item market here: https://www.torn.com/imarket.php. You will also want to equip yourself with some armor and a temporary item to give your opponents debuffs to make your fights much easier. Pepper spray is usually the cheapest recommended temporary item. Make sure to use these at the start of the fight. 

 

Once you defeat your opponent, you will have 3 options: Hospitalize, mug, or leave. Make sure to "leave" your opponents to gain the most Experience. Hospitalizing your opponents will leave them in the hospital for longer time while mugging will take a piece of the money they are carrying in their hand. Neither of these two provide as much Experience as leaving does. If you are having troubles defeating your opponents, then you may need to train in the gym more. Keep attacking until you reach level 15. Take a few xanaxs to give you more E to attack. 

 

Conclusion:

Following these step will help you achieve level 15 quickly as I was able to do it in 8 days with a more rough path. It's important to reach level 15 as it will allow you to start traveling to other countries and start making millions by buying items overseas and selling them for profit in the item market or to a trader. Then you can switch your focus to renting a Private Island, training, and saving your money. Make sure to buy a large suitcase once you have enough cash to increase your carry capacity.

Glad to see a guide that doesn't demonize selling losses. The gym gains i make from being able to afford happy jumps negates the 75 e spent on losses instead of gym.
