Finally, some outcomes and three known unique requires a car in a player's inventory. The exact car isn't relevant, nor is the possession of a drivers license or a racing license. Having any car will unlock these outcomes.
THE JOBS
(Disposal UI, desktop to the left, mobile to the right)
Disposal has a total of 12 different jobs, each with their own rewards, with more dangerous jobs giving increasingly higher payouts. The disposal method used and its success rate are also heavily dependant on the job being performed.
Each day at new day TCT (00:00), a new batch of jobs will be generated. These jobs are synchronized for all players, meaning every player will have the same jobs available. However, some jobs will only be shown if your skill level is high enough, so players with lower skill may find themselves one or a few jobs short compared to someone with high skill.
Jobs not done within the day will time out, so it's strongly advised to do all jobs available every day.
Once all jobs for the day are finished, no more jobs will spawn until the next day, making this crime extremely time-gated by limiting the amount of crimes you can do every day.
The jobs available are as follows (a more complete list will be available further below)
- Biological Waste (Rare, requires disposable mask)
- Body Part (Extremely Rare)
- Building Debris (Very common, requires wheelbarrow)
- Dead Body (Extremely Rare)
- Documents (Uncommon)
- Firearm (Very Rare, requires double cut file)
- General Waste (Very common)
- Industrial Waste (Uncommon, requires wheelbarrow)
- Murder Weapon (Very Rare)
- Old Furniture (Common)
- Broken Appliance (Common)
- Vehicle (Uncommon)
CRIME SKILL GAIN
The more advanced or complex a disposal job is, the more the expected CS gain becomes, with simple jobs like General Waste giving the lowest increase, Building Debris increasing slightly, and so on.
The exact increase varies from job to job. It is not entirely known if it follows a set formula, though based on observation alone, the following trends have been determined:
- General Waste: 100%
- Broken Appliance: 107.5%
- Old Furniture: 107.5%
- Building Debris: 115%
- Vehicle: 130%
- Documents: 145%
- Industrial Waste: 160%
- Biological Waste: 175%
- Murder Weapon: 212.5%
- Firearm: 220%
- Body Part: 350%
- Dead Body: 550%
These estimates are not 100% accurate but are close enough for most users.
THE METHODS
As stated before, each job has a selection of methods of disposal available. Some jobs will completely block certain disposal methods that would be impossible to perform for a particular job (like burying a car or burning concrete).
To select a method, just click the circle representing the method (for mobile users that's the trash bag).
A proper list of best/worst disposal methods for each particular job can be found further below.
Some disposal methods require one or more material components to be performed, the following is a list of these components and exceptions present, as well as a general guideline for each method.
ABANDON
Abandoning is the simplest of methods, usually consisting on leaving the object somewhere else where it won't be a nuisance. Out of sight, out of mind. It's the cheapest method, costing 6 nerve to perform.
It is also a fairly unsafe method across the board, tending to have lower than average success rates compared to other methods for the same jobs.
Vehicles and Murder Weapons require bleach and paper towels when using this method. No other known jobs have consumable requirements.
BURY
Burying is a disposal method available for most known jobs except Vehicles. It costs 8 nerve, a slight increase compared to Abandoning.
Not enough data to determine a general safety assessment for this method.
All jobs using the Burying method require a Shovel to be performed.
BURN
Burning is a disposal method available for most jobs except Building Debris and Broken Appliance. It costs 10 nerve.
This method is surprisingly safe, especially for anything that's particularly combustible like documents or old furniture.
All known jobs consume a Gas Can when using the Burning method.
SINK
Sinking is a disposal method available for all currently known jobs. It costs 12 nerve.
This method is very good with any job involving heavy stuff that would actually sink, while things like trash would simply float up and end up in failure.
Sinking usually doesn't require material components, the exception being Vehicles consuming Bricks.
DISSOLVE
Dissolving is an advanced disposal method available for most currently known jobs except Vehicle and Biological Waste. It's the most expensive method, requiring 14 nerve to perform.
It is extremely particular, failing almost 100% of the time for all currently known jobs. It is known to work for Body Part and Dead Body jobs though the specifics remain unknown.
Dissolving will usually consume Hydrochloric Acid. No known jobs require additional/different components.
CRIME SKILL GAIN
Just like jobs, skill gain increases depending on the method employed. The increase seems to be very straightforward, roughly a 20% increase for every 2N increase to the cost. This increment appears to be exponential, so expected gain multiplier would work in the following manner:
- Abandon: 100%
- Bury: 120%
- Burn: 144%
- Sink: 173%
- Dissolve: 207%
This value is then multiplied by the job's complexity multiplier, determining the final CS gain.
POINTS OF INTEREST
THE UNIQUES
This crime has a total of 11 uniques, one for each job minus Biological Waste.
No CS-locks were identified.
INCREASING SKILL LEVEL
This crime is difficult to level up, due to the limited amount of jobs available every day. More dangerous jobs and more advanced methods will result in increased gains, but due to success rates, you can't just go for dissolving everything in your nearby vicinity.
In terms of time efficiency, you wanna do the method with the highest success rate and the highest nerve cost for every target available every day. This is because nerve isn't a limiting factor for this crime, but time is, so we can forgo nerve efficiency for the sake of increasing daily gains.
In summary:
- Do every job available every day.
- Go with the method with the highest success rate.
- If multiple methods are safe, go with the most expensive in terms of nerve.
- Avoid chasing uniques, as tempting as it may be. Higher skill means more jobs every day meaning increased gains every day, you can backtrack the uniques when you're more comfortable with your current skill level.
THE MERITS
Just like all other crimes so far, this crime also has two honor bars native to it, and all the medals pertaining its category.
Reaching CS100 will grant one the Trash Bandit honor bar.
Dissolving a dead body in acid will grant one the Dissolving Agent honor bar
Dead bodies usually appear at higher skill levels but they're random, so your best option is just increasing your skill and waiting patiently for a dead body job to appear. They're generally safe, so don't be afraid and give it a shot if you get the chance.
Finally, all attempts at this crime are considered illicit service crimes in regards of Illicit Service offenses medals. It's the same category as the 1.0 crimes assassination and drug deals, but its high nerve cost and low amount of offenses to do daily make it a poor choice for getting these medals.
DETAILED JOBS
DISCLAIMER: The extremely limited data due to the daily nature of this crime makes this section fairly inaccurate and due to change as more information comes in. Expect this section to be updated regularly.
The following is a simple breakdown of jobs based on their complexity multiplier, as well as recommended jobs for best success rates, including safety assessments for particular combinations.
Definitions of color ratings:SAFE Success rate >95% MODERATELY UNSAFE Success rate between 95% and 90% UNSAFE Success rate between 90% and 80% RISKY Success rate between 80% and 60% DANGEROUS Success rate lower than 60%
Anything else either has 0% success rate or is pretty descriptive.

Advice: Sinking appears to work best, burying isn't exceedingly good but it does have a unique. Avoid dissolving.
Murder Weapon
Complexity Multiplier: 212.5%
Rarity: Very RareAbandon NO DATA Bury NO DATA Burn UNAVAILABLE Sink SAFE Dissolve VERY DANGEROUS
Advice: Sinking works, everything else I either have no data or isn't recommended.
Body Part
Complexity Multiplier: 350%
Rarity: Extremely RareAbandon NO DATA Bury NO DATA Burn NO DATA Sink LOW DATA - MODERATELY UNSAFE? Dissolve SAFE
Advice: Dissolving works very often, sinking has been shown to work as well. No data regarding other methods.

Complexity Multiplier: 550%
Rarity: Extremely RareAbandon NO DATA Bury NO DATA Burn NO DATA Sink NO DATA Dissolve LOW DATA - SAFE?
Advice: Dissolving seems to work though not much data is available. Abandoning is alright-ish. Other methods remain untested.
Misc: Materials consumed for this are x5 compared to other jobs, meaning you'll need 5 lye to bury, 5 gas cans to burn and 5 units of hydrochloric acid to dissolve.
COMPLEXITY AND METHODS
There's two factors that affect success rates, outcome rewards and skill gain: The job's Complexity Multiplier, and the employed method.
Complexity Multiplier, or just Complexity, is a general assessment on how difficult a job is to perform. Higher complexity means higher average payouts and higher expected CS gain. This means that failing at highly complex jobs can be disastrous for one's CS.
Complexity doesn't seem to follow a set pattern, increasing somewhat randomly. These multipliers can be found in the "crime skill gain" subsection under the "methods" section.
Method employed also affects skill gain directly, with Abandon as the baseline, every method increases expected CS gain exponentially by 20%, using the following equation:
Method Multiplier = 1 * 1.2 ^ ( (N-6) / 2 )
Where N stands for nerve spent, the multiplier would work as listed in the "crime skill gain" subsection under the "methods" section.
These multipliers appear to apply multiplicatively, with the final expected CS gain being
Final CS Gain Multiplier = Method Multiplier * Complexity Multiplier
In summary:
- A job's complexity increases CS gain, making more advanced jobs give more CS.
- The method used increases CS gain based on the amount of nerve used.
- These increases are multiplicative.
SUMMARY TABLE
Most suggested methods are fairly accurate, but data may be lacking for some. Take this with a grain of salt.
THE NUMBERS
DISPOSAL RISK BREAKDOWN
Full breakdown of each method for each job, somewhat hard to read but should be helpful enough for most.
JOB OCCURRENCE RATE
Some jobs are clearly more common than others, of this there's no doubt. Building debris and general waste can be seen every day, while others like dead bodies are seen once a week if you're lucky. The following is the distribution of daily jobs over a period of three weeks and then some, all at CS100.
Kinda difficult to read, here it is in chart form:
Those are the jobs registered over the observed period from Dec-29 to Jan-21, all at maximum skill. It's somewhat difficult to read so here's the important bits:
So, on average 16 jobs are generated every day, with some/most being locked to a certain skill level. Of all the jobs generated in a day, 18% are expected to be building debris, 16% general waste and so on. This should be a pretty decent demonstration on how some jobs are extremely common, showing up 2-3 times per day, while others are so scarce you'll spot one every three days on average.
Of course, the observation period being limited to 24 days ('cause that's how long I could be arsed to track this) makes the accuracy of some of these values less than perfect. Still, a pretty solid guideline nonetheless.
DISPOSAL INCOME BREAKDOWN
The money paid out differs significantly between each job, but the method used doesn't seem to have much bearing on this, if any. Going for the most advanced jobs like body parts and dead bodies is a neat source of side-income for a relatively low amount of nerve, depending on exact method employed.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I like this crime a lot. Not really fond of the daily nature of jobs, but I really like that we finally got an use for all the components we found in earlier crimes. It's not as strategic as hustling or any of the previous crimes, requiring a bare minimum of common sense and rational thinking to succeed easily.
Payouts are mostly cash, with uniques being the exception. Whether this will change with more advanced jobs remains to be seen. It'll be interesting seeing how much one can make everyday with this crime, plus money per nerve spent. Early jobs don't look too promising, but as stated in the announcement, the most dangerous jobs seem to give the bigger rewards, so time will tell.
In regards of mechanics, the different jobs with five disposal methods, some better than others for particular cases, is an interesting concept, as well as both the usage of material components depending on method use. Jobs being generated once a day is... peculiar, makes sense logically speaking but as many others would think, it's more of a time-gate than anything else.
Ninth guide in the series, and has it been a pain to collect data for it... It's not gonna get better with time either 'cause of the time gate. Still, had some fun working on this one, mainly when listing items and obtaining methods for each of them, wanted to get something simple done and look into using it for previous guides whose material components are no longer available in city stores. Also used torn's tables for the first time in a guide, here's hoping it looks as good as I expect it to be!
DATA GATHERING (DONE!)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I did see a lot of hydrochloric acid over the past few weeks for sale at the pharmacy, did they remove it with the new crime or was this an oversight? I definitely purchased a lot from there at $75 each.
