TC Essentials is a collection of new player guides I wrote back when I used to run a new player training faction and some even before that, I had lost them... or so I thought 2 weeks ago while going through my oldest server I came across a backup copy and spent some time re-writing most of them. some were over 7 years old my dumb ass wrote them before I even knew happy jumps existed so there might be logical or grammar issues here and there. I am fixing them I promise.

Its a long read but definitely worth your time If your a new player. currently there are bunch of guides covering different areas in there and many more will be added in the upcoming weeks, the issue I'm facing is researching and adding factual information with confirmations so they are as factual/correct as possible. There are over 12 misc guides I've written in the past they will be added next week just editing them based on their "usefulness" at the moment.

Hopefully the site is easy to use If there's any issues let me know via chat, post on the thread or in discord.

I know I'm not exactly known to have a good record maintaining stuff I make so I added the source code to github, you are free to host it yourself, contribute to it or download and run it locally. You are free to copy any part of the website, use it in your own guide or copy paste and throw it into your faction forums Without providing credits to me or linking to website. I wrote them so it would help players so you are free to share it wherever in whatever form you want to.

Current version is 1.4

you can find the version number on footer of the page

if the number is less than whats listed above that means your seeing an older version of the page cached by the CDN.

easy fix is to just press CTRL + F5 to refresh cache, you can also hold CTRL and click on the refresh button or else just open in incognito.

There will be guides for older players as well :) I have plans to publish my trading sheets and also write a Advanced trading guide.

Nice. You have put in quite a bit of work into this. I'll read through just cuz.

Also what you said in the intro reminds me, I've been playing a mobile game for the past week and here are some things I noticed:

Torn doesn't have an option to pay $4.99 to suspend ODs for 7 days
Torn doesn't have an option to pay $9.99 to gain +30% passive stat boost for 14 days
Torn doesn't have an option to pay $14.99 to buy a Value Pack of 1 billion tcd + 10,000 points + Hazmat Suit
Torn doesn't have an option to pay $24.99 to buy a Limited Offer Pack of 31-day bounty protection + 1000x battle & work stats for 31 days

I wonder what other game developers say about Ched's weird company.
