"Just put your money in a ghost trade!" is something you'll hear a lot, so this is how you do it. It's a way to keep your money safe from mugging without waiting for faction bankers. It's just a normal trade that the second person ignores.

Couple of things before you start:
1. Trades expire 6 hours after they are started. If you still have money in a trade after it's expired, it'll be in limbo for about 15 minutes before being returned to your wallet.
2. Only do this with someone you trust. The person you set the ghost trade up with can cancel it at any time, sending the money back to you and then they can mug you.

Start a trade with someone. You can do this by the icon on their profile or from the trade page.


Naming the trade "ghost trade" helps the other person know what's up.

Click on the + sign beside No money in trade


You can either click the button (highlighted) or type in the amount you want to add. The button will add all the cash you have on hand to the trade.




From here, you can delete the money from the trade (you'll get it back in your wallet), you can add more or edit the amount with the + button, or you can cancel the trade. Try to cancel the trade before the 6 hours is up otherwise your money will be held for about 15 minutes.
