Welcome to my hunting guide. Disclaimer: This guide is not for everyone. You must sacrifice all training in order to earn huge money from hunting. This is probably most suited towards players who only care about money. If you are trying to min max the game, don't follow this guide. All data and information is taken from the wiki.

    FAQ

How much money can I earn?
At 100 skill without perks, a full energy bar with donator status (150e) gives around 800k. With perks, it gives 1.5m (technically 1.495m). This gives about 11m daily and 8.5m in profits after xanax costs. This number goes up to around 14m daily as you are also importing plushies/flowers.

What are the downsides of following this guide?
You can't train. All your energy will be used to hunt. Additionally, you will need a long time (112 days minimum) to get to 100 skill. You will also incur rehab bills as you are taking 3 xanax a day. If you do train, you'll make less money. 10 energy = Around $99,667.

    BEST METHOD

    Step 1: Join a 7* meat warehouse
The 7* meat warehouse perk reduces the energy require to get 100 skill by 25%. Total energy required goes from 164,000 to 123,000 which a 41,000 decrease. This is extremely important as the higher your skill, the more money you'll make so its beneficial to get 100 skill as soon as possible.

    Step 2: Travel, Travel, Travel
Always pop a xanax before you travel. This should bring you up to 400e. When you reach South Africa (SA), hunt all your e away and travel back. After reaching torn, make sure to pop another xanax before travelling. You should not wait for your natural energy to regen fully before travelling. Just pop the xan and go. Repeat this 3 times a day.

Step 3: Start doing the Survival skills course under General Education
This course will boost income from hunting by 15%. It is advisable to do this as soon as possible to maximize the profit you gain.

Step 4: Join a faction with +30% hunting income
This will boost income from hunting by 30%. It is advisable to find a faction which also has +10 travel item capacity for maximum income.

Step 5: Join a 3* zoo or farm
DON'T QUIT THE MEATWAREHOUSE BEFORE 100 SKILL. ONLY DO THIS ONCE YOU HIT 100 SKILL! The 3* perk from either a zoo or farm gives an additional 25% hunting income boost. At this point, you'll be making maximum money possible through hunting.

    ALTERNATIVE METHOD
Instead of travelling to SA 3 times a day, you could stack 2 or even 3 xanax before travelling to SA. This reduces the number of times you need to travel to SA in a day but will increase the time needed to reach 100 skill (137 days for 1 SA a day, 123 days for 2 SA a day). Your profits will also reduce as you have less natural energy to hunt and won't be importing as many plushies/flowers. Steps 1,3,4 and 5 still apply.

    Boring math for nerds
*Assume xanax is $835,000 and lion plushies are $66,000

    Energy used to hunt with 3 SA per day = 150 natural+100 natural+100 natural+750 xanax = 1100 energy

    Energy used to hunt with 2 SA per day = 150 natural+100 natural+750 xanax = 1000 energy

Energy used to hunt with 1 SA per day = 150 natural+750 xanax = 900 energy

Max income from hunting at 100 skill without perks = (1100/150)*$800,000 = $5,866,667

    Max income from hunting at 100 skill with perks = $5,866,667 *1.3 faction *1.15 education *1.25 job = $10,963,333

    Max profit from hunting = $10,963,333 -($835,000*3) = $8,458,333

Max profit from importing plushies at 29 travel item capacity = ($66,000-$400)*29*3 = $5,707,200

    Total profit per day= $8,458,333+$5,707,200 = $14,165,533

    Minimum time needed to achieve 100 skill on 3 SA a day = 123,000/1100 = 111.81 days ≈ 112 days

    Minimum time needed to achieve 100 skill on 2 SA a day = 123,000/1000 = 123 days

    Minimum time needed to achieve 100 skill on 1 SA a day = 123,000/900 = 136.67 days ≈ 137 days

    TLDR,
this guide offers a way to earn big cash (14m a day) after a short investment period (112 days) at the cost of being a total noob in stats.

150e for 1.5m? just sell loses and you don't need to wait for 100 skill, no perks needed.

You'll need to take into account the opportunity cost of going for those company, edu and faction perks that help with hunting. I know people that make 400k per slut, which is like 20+mil a day, so even that has better money (not including money from traveling).

I'm not hunting. I know its bad for stats but you gotta take into account that some people are less active. The only reason I wrote this guide was because one of my friends kept wanting to even after I convinced him otherwise.

R+. good to see the maths all in one place and how to optimise your travel runs and drug use for the 100 HS merit.
Imo hunting is a "solo gamer" playstyle as you can make reasonable money and not have to talk to anyone.

Hmmm. So 800k per 150e, at the same time you can slut for 250k per loss, 1.5m.
Yeah with company specials, you can earn 1.5m, but you can join AN or SS and farm more than 700k additional cash.
Thx for guide, but it is useless(

I think the writer nailed it by saying not a min-max guide but used a min-max tactic(x3 xanax). I think that is where it fails....

The target audience for this guide is the people that log in 2-4 times per day. So the biggest issue of traveling overseas is mugging(profit loss). The biggest benefit of SA is you can travel to location with practically no cash. So I would travel with 1k-50k cash(not 100 but decent skill level...and switch to 1k cash once you can buy 29 plushies from hunting alone).

    Benefits:
*Don't have to log in immediately and only lose a couple $100 to a mug.
*Log in when you feel like it...hunt, when ready to buy plushies and xanax.
*Make $2+million (29 carry+hunting) and be logged in couple minutes on each side.

This guide is best for someone who logs in less than 30 minutes per day, wants relatively passive income, doesn't like to use travel alarms when landing, and wants to use the most profitable per trip(NET, not per hour) location to make money.

I think most players are in between min max and not quite that inactive. But, I do see where this could be useful...like when low in cash, want to get a couple more merits end game, and just want to enjoy torn. Good guide overall.

Best use of SA is sleep time or away time. Benefits listed above could work for min-max oriented player that sleeps. Travel to SA with minimal cash, sleep, get mugged, wake up, hunt, travel back with couple mil to work with next day.

I gain very little from hunting, but it costs me no energy.
I only travel to SA overnight.
When I wake up, maybe I have been mugged, but I typically carry less then 50,000.
At this point, I am at full energy. I buy lions, spend 100e for hunting, then fly back to Torn. When I arrive, my energy is full again.
My skill is now at 50, and 100e gains me about 100,000. While it will take years to become relevant, I do this at zero cost.

The cost is your drug cooldown, can you take 3 xan per day doing this?

THis might be super obvious but I haven't seen it anywhere. How do you know when to do level 1, 2, 3 hunting? Is it like crimes where you should only do the higher level if say you're always getting money from the current one, or should you just go straight to level 3? Is the experience you gain better from the higher level, or just the money?

Generally, when hunting, you should start off with the beginner session. It will become more profitable to move on to standard sessions when your hunting skill reaches the mid-twenties.
It will become more profitable to move from standard to advanced sessions when your hunting skill reaches the mid-seventies.
