Reduce your effective battlestats!

Thread created on 16:56:40 - 25/08/20 (6 years ago)|Last replied 05:32:22 - 03/06/26 (4 months ago)With the release of irradiated blood bags it was possible to reduce your stats by a measly 2%. Now with them being stackable you can effectively reduce your battlestats by an unlimited amount(No cap on the radiation poisoning itself, but a max cap on the battlestat reduction of 100%, meaning your stats effectively equal 0)
But how is this useful and why would you want to do it? The reasons are plentiful:- You have a super weak mission target that you have to beat in more than # of turns
- You want to wall slut(this is extinct now) and have too many battlestats.
- You want to sell the "defend against a higher battlestats" merit
- To help a newbie power level
- For fame and glory
Effective battlestats are pretty simple to understand. They take your total battlestats(the ones seen in the gym) and multiply(or divide) them by the percentage. Each of the four battlestats has its own percentage multiplier. Drug addiction, rad poisoning, current drug effects, they all affect your effective battlestats in a negative way, This guide will not be using drug addiction as a way to reduce your effective battlestats because it has the side effect of kicking you out of education.
Keep in mind that your bonuses(the ones you get from faction, merits, job, ect) will still be active. Therefore it's likely that you might have to go over 100% battlestat reduction if you want 0 effective battlestats.
The main way you can effectively reduce battlestats is by taking a Irradiated blood bag. All you need is one blood bag to produce a unlimited amount of irradiated blood because whenever you have any amount of rad poisoning you can produce a irradiated blood bag as you would a normal bag of blood. One blood bag will increase rad poisoning by 2%. The cap for this is 100%, meaning that 50 items of Irradiated blood will get you to zero battlestats.
Next you can use a common drug(xanax) to decrease each stat by a good amount, for some this might work on its own. It DOES stack with rad poisoning so you can do both to decrease your stats by a good amount. This method is recommended to decrease your battlestats over irad blood because it is far more temporary and free to get rid of. Also the lowest percentage you can get is -100%. Unless you want the novelty of bringing the radiation poisoning itself to bringing your battlestats down 100%, you can safely stop at 75% and then take a xanax. Bonus points for an OD.
Now to bring down your weakness. Waiting is the cheapest form of doing it but you can use nemune tablets if you want to get rid of the poisoning quicker(and get a merit!)
I hope you enjoyed this guide. As I study the subject it will get more detailed and accurate(although I have been struck with rad poisioning in a dirty bomb strike and am 90% sure about the information in this guide) Thanks for reading and Go Glow Green!Last edited by CoolguyRuler on 04:09:43 - 04/02/23 (3 years ago) -

- You can hosp yourself with Irradiated blood which gives approximately 1 hour of hospital time BUT does not stack with other hospital time. This gives a sort of a grace item to AB+ traders, who can't self hosp with normal blood bags
- As long as you have any radiation poisoning you can produce a Irradiated blood bag. Blood type doesn't matter.
- Usage is similar to normal blood bags.
- You need to not have full life to use this item, meaning if you have full life, use a blood bag and then use the irad blood bag.
- After using a irad blood bag life falls to 0
- Medical cooldown=that of any other bloodbag(1 hour)
- Like any other bloodbag, you need the course "Intravenous Therapy" to be able to use this item.
- Radiation poisioning goes away at a rate similar to addiction, and also effects stats similarily.
- Radiation poisioning doesn't affect job performance or education.

Basically if you take 20 bags, will your new stats be (0.98)^20, or to 100 - 20*2 = 60.
If they stack additively, I would very much like to see if it is possible to get negative effective stats.

Posted on 15:04:55 - 16/10/20 (6 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkTo my understanding they act like percentages. ect:
1000 strength * 50%=500+original 1000=1500 effective battlestats
If the percentage were negative instead of adding the 50% you would subtract it ect
1000 strength *-50%=-500+original 1000=500
To see if it would be possible to get negative battle stats would require a person to have over -100% effective battle stats, which I do not believe is possible and am not willing to reach at the current moment. The maximum I have reached with blood bags and drug effects is -60% effective battlestats. -
