*a little context* (ignore the below line if someone sent you to this thread) Ever since I began making sigs for my team I have received over 10 people asking me how to add it to their signature. I guided them one by one and then finally gave up and searched the forums but couldn't find a guide I'm also really sorry if the steps I take in this guide annoys you, remember this is meant for total newbies.  so here's the Guide   [b]Welcome to my guide on How to add a Forum/Profile Signature ![/b] Please Note that the Max dimensions for a Forum signature are 600 Horizontal Pixels and 100 Vertical Pixels ( 600x100) where as for profile signature there are no limit on dimension except there's a word limit and its Huuuuuge(H with 5 U's) Another Note: for some strange reasons forum signatures get Cut by 297 horizontal Pixels effectively making the image half I have already made a [url=https://www.torn.com/forums.php#/p=threads&f=19&t=16058461&b=0&a=0&start=0&to=18757761][color=#ff0000]bug report[/color][/url] on it, fingers crossed hope it gets fixed. So what is a forum signature you ask? [img width=673 height=322]https://i.imgur.com/3U5EQG4.png[/img] the image you see in the Green box is called a forum signature, its a graphical image making you look cool (yep I'm exaggerating). Mostly users add it to show it off when they post in the forum, during competitions people add it to show off their teams !  So here's How you add it to your forum signature, Step 1: Procure the gfx link url, ask your gfx maker or if you made the graphics upload it to Imgur and right click on the uploaded image and click on copy image url for example the link should look something like [url=https://i.imgur.com/3U5EQG4.png]https://i.imgur.com/3U5EQG4.png[/url] (notice it ends with a file extension, ie, .png or .gif or .jpg) Step 2: Visit your forum signature tab in your user preferences to do this [img width=558 height=207]https://i.imgur.com/tn3fPGG.png[/img] then you should see the below page [img width=533 height=382]https://i.imgur.com/dZxNBIA.png[/img] Step 3: Click on the Profile Signature tab, [img width=597 height=266]https://i.imgur.com/wwXEXqi.png[/img] Now a page like the below should show up [img width=554 height=407]https://i.imgur.com/LKt7yBe.png[/img] (Please note that if you didnt previously add a signature then yours should be empty. if you already have one there just save it somewhere and then select it and click on the delete click (iOS users click on it then KEEyboard pops up simply press the delete button and its gone ) Step 5: Now See that "A" button at the top, yep thats the devil that stops many players from ever finding out how to add a signature, [img width=495 height=374]https://i.imgur.com/GpjR2uL.png[/img] This is what you should see after you successfully click on it ! [img width=533 height=409]https://i.imgur.com/5mfaW0t.png[/img] Step 6: now simply click on the image button on the bar to add an image [img width=543 height=417]https://i.imgur.com/etZ65SP.png[/img] now the below box should pop up simply paste the earlier procured link on it, leave the dimensions as is if it is 600x100 or play around see what fits but ensure its 600x100 max or it won't fit.
