    Me personally hate scammer. There a many way a scammer trick you. It can be :



    1.Cheap Seller. Usually they sell item that the price is too good to be true. But they give you different item.

    Example : Potion_seller sell you a e dvd. But then he give you a blank dvd. (Real scammer)

    2. Loaner. This type scammer is always saying that they don't have money on hand. He/She isn't going to give your money back

    3. "Buying" Losses. Usually He/She is don't want to pay up front. Always get pay up or at least the half.

    4. "Wall Street" Guy. He/She will say that He/She can invest your money at Bank or Stocks. You probably already lose your money the second you give the money.

    5. "I Forget To Add The Thing". the trader saying that He/She forget to add the Money/Item. This type scammer just got item without have to pay anthing.

    6. Fake Doctor**. This type scammer claim that He/She will revive you. Instead reviving you, He/She just leave you.



    How to evade scammer.

    1. Always check if He/She have many enemy. You can find it on profile page. If He/She have many enemy probably He/She is a scammer.

    2. If the price is too good to be true. Probably it's a scam

    3. See if He/She add the correct item/Money. It kinda obvious but sometimes you probably forget this

    4. Use mug protection. Use it before having big trade with someone. Ask your friend to mug you while you are at empty wallet so if you do get buymug at least your wallet is safe

    Umm, it's a fine guide I guess, other than the slightly broken english.

    "3. Selling "LOSSES". Usually He/She is a lever holder. He/She will mug you. The one who is going to lose is you."

    Not sure how this is scamming, don't you get mugged all the time as a level 18 already? Just don't have anything on hand and it's their loss of energy.

    right, now thinking about it there are also revive scammers, loss/runaway scammers, and potentially bust/bail scammers

    also your friends who may bank, hold stock, or run a company for u could scam u

    Potion_Seller is a scammer? Good to know. Almost bought Edvd from him. Can we make a list of all the scammed? Buy muggers? With links so more people can block them?

    saylorsound [2047964] is filthy scammer...she sell fhc and edvd for cheap then cancel and you will being mugged. though her level is so lo there must be her multi account which is higher level..so be aware

    Maybe you could add that if you want to sell a lot of stuff, it might be in your best interest to look up traders in the forum, check the comments below for '+rep' and their profiles for amount of friends/enemies and then make the deal. If you do your research you will get scammed a lot less, i guarantee it.

    Instead of paying money for mug protection (faction members/friends might do it for free btw) why not buy meds from the item market? xanax, vicodin, edvds are relatively stable goods, can't be mugged and will always be in demand.

    Some months ago there was a similar thread (dont have the link) where people could add 'known' scammers to a list so it was easy to add them as enemies. There was quite a lot of criticism because scamming is not forbidden and you don't have consistent proof that someone scams. For example, I could say some guy I dont like is a scammer and a lot of people might add him as an enemy, can be quite dangerous.
