This games beauty is how versatile the outcomes are.  Its not by all means intended to make you think its the best,  it just worked for me.  If you dont like it stfu and read another one that suits ya gamestyle.  Torn is a game about strategy and discipline. There are currently several guides on how to make money with different approaches. All of them are great but this is how i did mine.  I know its hard to start the game off with tons of aggressive players taking advantage of their age and networth over the newbies that only want you to answer a few simple questions. Players that exploited tons of bugs in the past and who have to give thanks that they made their fortunes going around such bugs. Some might say Dude, read the wiki, its all there while that is true sometimes you need someone to guide you in the proper direction. On the other hand other players enjoy placing nonsense bounties just cuz they can and have endless financial means over defenseless newbies. I am one who has been back in forth in this game having mixed feelings about it but in the end I enjoy it cuz of the players that make the experience priceless. While there are many ways of making money in torn Ill let you in some of my pointers:

1. Avoid unwanted attention in the trade chats or general populace chat, heres a mistake many players make where they become easy prey for bullies who just want to see the world burn for no reason. Asking questions in this game can lead to a series of bounties on you and annoying mugs which might even cause you to quit the game. DONT DO IT, dont give these bullies the pleasure of enjoying the game.

2. Chat with people, Dont Beg Some people here are reluctant to help for many good reasons, the main one is thinking that you are a multi (Which in many cases is true) but if you show other players that you are a real person with a real intention of playing the game, many out there might be willing to pitch in to help or guide you in the game.

3. Never waste your precious energy mugging and attacking.This is a mistake many players do thinking that they will make a name for themselves but thats just burning precious training energy. Use it all for training. I trained hard for 40 days never wasting energy to attack until I found out some old player accounts that were high level inactives with crappy stats would allow me to speed up my levels and get me to 15 faster than usual Attack and LEAVE them never hospitalize or mug for you get less experience to level up. Getting to level 15 is a PRIORITY for it will allow you to travel and make great cash off running for things. Ill explain that later. The only time í recomend to waste energy is for slutting purposes (attack and lose for cash 200k is the minimum youll get for each attack)  but only slut for 1 day only and thats only to help you rent a decent property.

4. Education coursesare important in torn as they help compliment your character with special skills needed throughout the game. I personally started the game taking the biology courses, since I didnt want people giving me money. Why? Cuz I never let a game beat me or be easy on me cuz ill lose interest in it. I did the introduction to Biochemistry course then jumped directly to intravenous therapy (Ability to fill blood bags) heres where things started to get fun, I sold my blood for good money and slowly began to build my cash. I then jumped education and did all my Sports science courses to gain extra gym gains. I later returned to finish my biology courses. The money off the blood bags allowed me to make almost 500k a day, which when you are a newbie, is A LOT of cash lol. The money I got heres what I did in number 5

5. Companies- I joined a 7star sweetshop. Boy was this a game changer for me. The cans payout turned my torn experience upside down. I went from making 15mil a month on bloodbags and reselling crap to close to 50million a month with the cans. I bought my first Donator pack this way. I also noticed that the people with high level stats in their education such as intel endurance or manual got paid very well as well as enjoying awesome company perks through job points. Seeing that I had too low stats or wasnt gaining them  fast enough, I decided to buy my education and boost my stats. I contacted a director to whom I persuaded to sell me extra company training in exchange for cans. He said yes and I got an extra 5 trains a day or 250 of a main stat. I did until eventually he sold all the 10 company trains to me for more less 100k-150kper train. That was A LOT of money for me but I knew the investment would speed up climbing that ladder of success and would basically pay for itself back to me in the form of using awesome job specials in a bigger company. I got 1500 intel every month for 7 months this was my plan to get me a job in a 10 star fitness center. But while I was investing in my education I also reserved cash for the next pointer coming up

6. Blood Bags. The money off blood bags and cans allowed me rent to rent my first Private Island. I could only afford to rent it for 10 day periods but It was money well spent. I rented a low level PI with an airstrip that would allow me to bring back an extra 10 items to my regular 5 that torn allows you. As I did the 15 items I noticed the best place to travel for cash is Argentina and UK as I never lost training energy coming back and forth. After about 5 runs I was able to buy my first large suit case and bring back 19 items. By then my stats were still shitty but fortunately I was making enough money for the next step, FACTIONS.

7. Factions. Not many factions would allow a newbie like me in since my stats were not good enough, I searched for a decent faction that had EXCURSION upgraded to 10. This will allow you to bring back an extra 10 items for a total of 29. How did I get in? I bribed the leader paying them 6mil a month to allow me use the excursion option to the max. Heres where I can say I succeeded in the game. My salary went from 50mil a month to 280million by doing flower and plushie runs (Personally sticking to UK for there are 3 options to choose from, Heather flowers, Nessies and Red Fox Plushies). I did 4-5 runs for 3 months earning my first billion complementing running, cans and blood with occasional purchases off the market and reselling them for profit. Then I rented PI for 30 days periods and bought my bazaar.

8. Stock market. I didnt understand much about it but read the payouts and since most were too expensive for me I stuck to the 2 most important ones for newbies. With my income I was able to buy TCHS or torn health which pays out medical boxes and LSC the casino stocks giving me lottery vouchers which complemented my income. I personally found out these 2 stocks pay back your investment faster then others since you get 2-4 items every week worth close to a mil each.

9. Crimes, be very disciplined in this area too, I usually did hundreds of the low 3-4 nerve crimes(Stealing jackets) until I felt confident to start doing the pickpocket ones. I skipped larceny for it gives no nerve experience and Once I was able to pickpocket the hobo successfully I started to pickpocket the second option  and slowly moved up the ladder to lawyer. Here I pickpocketted lawyers a lot and eventually tried swift robberies, usually getting blues until that day I hit a green. I then strengthened my nerve bar in the swift robberies until I was able to thoroughly rob the bank (Stay away from armored trucks, stick to bank only) When I got to the point where I got about 90 percent success rate on this crime I did about 1500 robberies and then decided to try the holy grail of nerve bar increase Arson( SKIP Drug Trafficking for it will kill your nerve and pawn shop, gta is a waste of time) stick to burning down the warehouse ONLY dont do the other crimes within arson. Sit back and watch how nerve bar increases 10k arsons will get u a solid 55 NNB. Once you have done arson, u can move on to kidnapping the mayor(Always have 75k on hand if you get a red to bribe the mayor and avoid jailtime) or assassinate mob bosses as well as using stealth virus crimes. These crimes mentioned above  give no jail time and see how you get to the desired 60NNb everyone wants to aspire in Torn to be a member of a Political Assassination team and earn 30mil weekly moreless as payout for the crime.

10. Opportunities given by Ched.  Finally check for sweet deals and opportunities in the players forums, trade chats and map.  Some generous players hold tons of lotteries as well as bored traders trying to get rid of stuff like dollar sales.  Every day guaranteed you can earn 60k buying and reselling pepper spray in Big Als gun shop  or a little less selling beer at Bits and Bobs . The money is everywhere guys just follow the trails. 60k a day is an easy passive of 1.8mil monthly.

So there you have it, my way of how I was able to succeed in torn. I now have decent battle stats that allow me to gain money in many other ways but if you are able to follow the pointers that I just mentioned above, I guarantee that you will enjoy torn a lot.
