This can be done about 95+% of the time by looking at the basic profile page of the user, so Im going to show the method and explain why it works, firstly, lets take an example level holder, with key elements highlighted:



1) Basic identification:

Consider level holders are: people with an apparent low level (typically 15-20), but with a much higher true level. The consequence of this is that they will have more awards than normal (for level 15-20 if they are a level holder they will probably have more than 100 awards). Given that most level holders do it for the defends, a level holder will probably have won 500+ defends. Rank: of course a higher true level player will have more crimes, trained more battle stats and have a higher net worth, meaning that they will have a higher title.



2) A second glance:

If still uncertain about whether a player is a level holder or not, you should look at their title, and their level for a second time. Using some old data about titles:



We can see there is a huge variation, but you need to consider what a level holder is most likely to be, they probably have a high number of defends won / stalemated, enemies run away, and could be bountied a lot, either intentionally or from egotists not liking level holders. Which gives you a slightly different graph:



(where the 14% represents, antagonists, tanks, outcasts and intimidators).



A second note on level: if you look across all players, some levels are much more likely than others, using old data, and new data:





Its best shown by the Tornstats and Active level from Torn Graphs, that you can see a spike of players every 5 levels (5,10,15 etc), where you would expect a normal distribution, given that there are ~550,000 data points, but this suggests that players are more likely than they should be to be a level that is a multiple of five. This means that IF a player has a level that is a multiple of five, there is an increased chance that they are a level holder.



Based on what a level holder is likely to be, I have compiled a list of (at present) 90 level holders, which only uses data from the immediate profile page. Data presented in a spreadsheet, and I am taking submissions for players to be evaluated then potentially added to the sheet.
