Haven't seen this yet but really handy for big trades. Remember to have at least a med in your inventory for hopping out of hosp.

1) Since you are receiving the money, set the trade yourself. You will get last move in the trade and can control exactly when you receive it

2) While trade is up and ready, self-hospitalize before accepting. I use either $10 Russian Roulette or a wrong blood bag (use empty bag to injure first if I'm full hp)

3) Accept and receive the money

4) Start a ghost trade, pick either a friend you trust not to cancel it or someone afk (or both?)

5) Med out. Some muggers will wait til you come out of hosp and still mug you so just keep medding out or wait til they afk. Usually they give up after a $0 mug.

6) Pick a time within the next 6 hours to cancel the ghost trade and stash the cash. I personally rely on bookie bets and moving the cash before the bet closes, each bet has a limit of 1b.

Thumbs up, good tips here.

I'd also recommend for people to trade with trusted traders only if the traded items have some value to them. Trusted traders generally don't mug you after the trade since it would tarnish their reputation and reduce the number of people that come to them.

But still, good tips.

EDIT: Weird, I heard from someone that you're quite the buy mugger yourself, and yet here you are telling people how to avoid it. Quite hilarious lol

No need to trade with trusted traders only, they will usually rob you with their crappy prices anyway. Sell to the highest bidder and self-hosp before you finalize the trade.

Very true haha I forgot to include that.

If you want the most money for your items just sell in your bazaar, that's where you'll get those extra millions :)

You could also make sure you buy some Ipecac before moving on with the trade in order to stay hospitalized but this is a great idea! Just got buy mugged check it out....

-First he buys my drug pack (btw I was right in the middle of moving some profit from one stock to another, which is why the next screen shot of the "Mug" is so high)

*** MUGS ME ALONG WITH SOME OTHER GUY who was, what im going to call ""Market-Mugging", waiting for said item on the market to dissappear, being sold by someone they can definitely win in an attack, aka ME...

The funny thing is DUDE who attempted to "Buy-Mug" FAILED which I was unaware of in the first few seconds of the aftermath, here's how that chat went. I usually wouldn't even try cause I could care less but a million is a lot for someone of my level so I was pissed and wanted to try and make him feel guilty(not knowing he failed in the process)

Needless to say it didnt work but I now know how to deal with these situations. And I already knew about "buy-muggers", but learned today that if you don't have the money for the "buy-mug" you can wait the item to dissappear from the market and then attack.... anyways

Thanks for the guide/advice for buy -muggers/trade-muggers.

Just trade dude and sell on the market only if have more 50 mil stats, that's why traders exist.
