Mar 4, 2016: Very Hard missions unlocked
Late May, 2016: Expert missions unlocked
June 3, 2016: Insights into the next mission giver.
Reminder: Always looking for Rewards and Missions information to add to this guide.
This is obviously a guide in progress given the new missions system. The idea here is to update the guide as new information is released, as making one much later will be a hell of a lot more work. The words missions and contracts may be used interchangably in this guide, but missions come from Anonymous and contracts come from everyone else.
December 21, 2015
Mission Credit Exchange Rate = $6716
Based on lowest price average exchange of valuable items compared at market price.
At this time 100 mission credits equates to approximately $671,600.
For maximum profit items should have the highest exchange rate possible. IE. Fewer credits for more gain.
Valuable items trade in the thousands, where junk trades in the hundreds. Don't waste credits on junk items!
Best bang for the buck so far: $35,800 exchange per mission credit purchasing a Para LMG. Better exchanges have been made but not recorded.
Basic Mission Mechanics
- Missions are delegated by Agents in the form of Contracts.
- Completing contracts earns cash, mission credits and agent standing as rewards.
- You can decline a contract if you feel it is too difficult but it negatively affects your agent standing.
- A new contract is released by the Agent you have active, once per day at midnight Torn time.
- You can only have a total of 3 contracts active at a time.
- There is a time limit on completing missions.
- It is possible to receive the same contract name, with the same task and the same target, but it will be extremely rare.
- Missions give experience. It is assumed that higher difficulties give more experience.
Agents
George - So far the only objective George is known to have is the starting Tutorials. Having these complete puts your agent standing with George at about 60%, so expect more missions from him in the future.
Anonymous is unlocked at level 5 and gets you started in the more complex missions, directing you to Duke. It is likely that Anonymous will focus more on arranging new contracts with you as part of his missions, than assigning actual contracts. He is as mysterious as ever. Also he speaks more languages than me, so he clearly can't be trusted.
Rewarded by Anonymous for completing the first mission, Introduction: Duke.
Duke offers you your first contracts primarily focused around attacking, but are not limited to just this. He's not afraid to swear at you, I recommend reading all of his dialog. Three-peat contract unlocks Medium Difficulty. Hobgoblin contract unlocks Hard Difficulty. Cut Them Down to Size contract unlocks Very Hard difficulty. Bring It! contract unlocks Expert difficulty.
Max Duke Bar: I Estimated 300-320 missions and/or roughly 10,000 mission points
? offers endurance challenge style missions. Could this be the priest?
? offers curior style missions. Could this be the Post Office worker?
? deals with weapon specialization. Could this be Big Al?
There are 2 more additonal agents that we have no details on. These 5 agents are not yet released. It is safe to say that any new agents beyond this that may come about, won't happen for a very long time. Instead we should see many new missions within these perameters. Speculation on future Agents could include the Priest from the church, owners of specific businesses, or even Staff contracts.
UPDATE June 3, 2016: The next mission character is named Amanda. It is not clear what type of missions she will give, but the rumor is that she is a nuclear physicist. I suspect she will be weapon specialization! Just a hunch, I'm guessing to unlock Expert you may need to be in a faction that starts building a Dirty Bomb. If so, EPIC. Expect Amanda to be released around November 2016 (maybe sooner, maybe later... I guess a lot later.)
HINT: Pay attention to the wording Duke uses. If he tells you to attack a player, you don't need to hospitalize them. In fact, you don't even have to win the fight. He may be specific and tell you to hospitalize or use a brick, or send a message with a specific word in it.
Agent Standing
WARNING: Failing or declining contracts will reduce your agent standing with that agent.
Completing many contracts increases Agent Standing, which will gradually increase difficulty, rewards and the amount of contracts available.
Maxing an Agent Standing will vary for each player as it requires passing each difficulty level initiating mission which spawn spontaniously after X Agent Standing is achieved. Assuming these spaen as soon as they are available and you do not fail or pass on any contract, it is estimated you'll max standing at 300 completed contracts and/or 10,000 mission credits earned. (At least for Duke anyway.)
HINT: Did Duke give you an opponent which is too big to chew? Ask faction members or in trade chat for help to defeat your foe, before resorting to declining or failing a contract.
Difficulty
Very Easy - For certain players, some contracts that should be easy appear as very easy.
Easy - Simple tasks with small rewards.
Medium - Average 2x more mission credits than easy.
Hard - Average 3x more mission credits than easy.
Very Hard - Average 4x more mission credits than easy.
Expert - Average 5x more mission credits, and 16x more money than easy. Most contracts will require help from other players.
Before a new difficulty teir can be unlocked you must complete a special mission for the Agent. After completing this mission future contracts will have a chance to spawn at a higher difficulty rate.
There are several factors that effect difficulty - randomness is one of them, but mission difficulty is based on current targets, so if there are no suitable targets for your max difficulty level at the moment, it will be dropped.
HINT: As contracts become more difficult you can expect objectives similar to what you've experienced, with more restraints. For example, instead of defeating an enemy with a rifle, you might need to defeat them with a specific kind of specialty munition like HP (Hallow Point.) Later you may be required to use a specific gun, with specific attachment, a specific munition, and hit a specific body part. Expect that some rewards will become a requirement to completing certain contracts. Saving up for ammunition later might be a good idea, but it may not be an option to purchase when you need it.
Mission Credits
At the bottom of the missions page there will always be 6 randomly spawned purchasable rewards, that can be bought only with mission credits earned from agents by doing contracts.
When you purchase a reward, a new random reward will replace it. Unpurchased rewards are replaced once every 7 days. It may be worthwhile to save up mission credits for items you really want, rather than buying the cheap stuff. Item costs are subject to change at the whim of Ched.
Special ammunition has a chance to spawn for purchase with mission credits. This is the only way to obtain this ammunition. It is special, so save it for when you really need it - like in expert difficulty.
Hollow point - Damage is increased but armor penetration is decreased. Cheapest cost.
Tracer - Accuracy is increased. More expensive.
Piercing - Armor penetration is increased. Even more expensive.
Incendiary - Damage is increased. Most expensive.
Once equipped, special ammunition will then be used in every attack and defend until priority is removed or all of the ammunition is used up."
HINT: Mission credits is a new currency that can be used to purchase items that can not be earned or purchased any other way, such as special ammunition and (yet to be release) weapon attachments. We can likely expect to see specialized armor here as well. Spend credits wisely.
Known Missions + Rewards
Please help me fill in the gaps with missions you've received and I haven't. Ched has noted 67 available Duke missions as of release of this new system, with the ability for more to be easily added based on community feedback.
Credits earned for a specific contract (and possibly cash too) can be a variable. Please correct me if you notice an incorrect number such as "2-4" credits earned, where you earned 5 or more for the same contract.
Guide continues in next post!Last edited by Accurate on 17:12:33 - 06/08/17 (9 years ago)

Posted on 19:27:03 - 27/12/15 (10 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkSPECIFIC MISSION GUIDES
Safari - Make sure you click accept contract, equip a rifle style weapon, and purchase an abundance of ammunition.
Now travel to South Africa and click on people. Your target will be flashing. It does not matter how long they have been inactive, they will appear for you. Attack them and use only the rifle for all attacks.
NOTE: At least 1 of the targets is a standard target and is not revivable. Reported that temporary items like Pepper Spray and Tear Gas do not count as a hit, confirmed.
Some People - To send a package to a player you need an Empty Box and a useless item (brick or box of tissues confirmed to work.) Find the empty box in your inventory and click use. Now add a useless item like a brick. Package the box. Return to your inventory and find the item called Parcel. Click Send, and add in the name of your target and go through the confirmations of sending the Parcel to the player.
Hide and Seek - Read the text that Duke gives after you accept the mission. He will give you an obvious clue of which player you need to attack, so you don't need to waste energy attacking them all.
Pass the Word - Send the target player a message using complete sentences and real words, and include the word that Duke specifies. Typing jibberish or not using sentences will prevent you from successfully completing the mission.
Hare, Meet Tortoise - Defeating a player with lightening fast speed simply means they are likely to land a lot of hits. If needed, you can decrease their speed with Pepper Spray or other temporary items, OR your can increase your stats with drugs like Vicodin (+25% all stats) or temporary medical boosters, OR both.
Big Tub of Muscle - Defeating a player with gargantuan strength means they are going to hit you hard when they hit. To counter this, you can boost your defense (absorb the impact) or dexterity (dodge the attack.) Defense is likely the better strategy unless you are already a dexterity beast. The same rules as the above Hare, Meet Tortoise apply.
Immovable Object - Defeating a player with unpenetriable defense means you might be able to hit them, but you'll do very little damage. Taking seratonin will quickly turn the tables, but you have to have the education course for it. Alternatively, you can have a stronger player knock them down to low health first, or use Vicodin to boost your stats by 25% in combination with a temporary item like Pepper Spray to reduce their stats.
Defeating a player with high dexterity means you need to either reduce their dexterity, or increase your speed. Melatonin (if you have the edu course) will speed you up dramatically for 120 seconds. Using this keeps you from using another temp like Pepper Spray, which would reduce the enemy stats. Vicodin in combination with Melatonin would make this rediculously easy.
Defeat player with object means use ONLY that object. If it says use a hammer, don't use duel hammers. If it says use a rifle, that means use a rifle for all hits landed.
Hit player in specific body parts requires you to try to land a lot of hits, doing as little damage as possible. Use low accuracy, low damage weapons. Low accuracy will help prevent critical hits, while low damage helps keep them alive longer. Another trick is to attack them about half way through a health tick so that if you almost kill them, you can wait for the tick so they regain a bit of health for that 1 or 2 extra hits before they die. This could be the difference of 25 or even more energy.
Expend ammunition - I recommend just chaining or mugging as usual, but with a weapon that tosses out as much ammunition as possible. Chaingun or Armalite work well for this.
Collect $x bounties - You can NOT collect bounties you place yourself. This was an exploit which was patched. You can have a friend place a large bounty on someone easy though.
Defeat a large number of players - Combine this with your other missions. If you know you're going to have to defeat 11 players for example, than wait to collect this mission until you have 2 more. Then start all three missions and complete the other two. Wait for 2 more (because you likely have 3 days to complete this one) and do them as well. By the time you complete Duke's other missions, you are likely going to have this one done.
Lose or Stalemate to a player - If Duke gives you this mission while you're attempting to get 500 wins in a row, than find someone you know you can stalemate with. Make sure to hit them with something weak so you don't kill them. A stalemate won't screw up your win streak.
ENERGY SAVING STRATEGY - Shout out to Multipass for suggesting this strategy.
You can store up to 3 active missions at a time and missions with time limits only begin those limits when you accept them. To save energy on contracts you can double up specific contracts to do less attacks, thus saving energy.
Example: Bountiful (collect 2 bounties) can be combined with A Problem on the Tracks (defeat players without using guns) and Frenzy (defeat any players) to save 125 energy. Here Frenzy allows you to attack any players and you need to attack a minimum of 5 players. You can use the targets from A Problem on the Tracks and bounty 2 of these targets before attacking them. This will allow you to complete 3 missions while only using the energy for Frenzy. There are many combinations that could work, so pick and choose contract acceptance for when it makes the most efficient sense.Last edited by Accurate on 17:00:10 - 06/08/17 (9 years ago)

Posted on 21:27:07 - 28/12/15 (10 years ago)Post link copied to clipboard Copy post linkDoes anyone know how to complete the "Pass the word" mission? I sent him a message with the titel as reprobate and sent him a message... It was only blah blah blah reprobate blah blah...
I think I may have to use complete sentences but was wondering if anyone has completed this one already
Send DragonWolf a message and include the word reprobate in there. It's a little inside joke that I know he'll get, but he ain't gonna be laughing. Oh and make it a believable message in case the cops are reading it. Do it right and he'll know what I mean. -

Same reward as easy. Possible the target is more difficult, but Chedburn did say that once a new difficulty is unlocked there is a *chance* of that difficulty spawning. Seems odd that all the contracts now come up as Medium. It could be an error. Rewards are supposed to all be higher too.
