[Userscript] Item set calculator (V0.5)

    What is it?
    This userscript calculates the current total price for a complete item set in the item market.

    What does it look like?


    How do I install it?
    First you should install a userscript manager for your browser (such as Tampermonkey for chrome or Greasemonkey for firefox).
    Now you are ready to install the actual script: Torn set calculator

    How do I use it?
    Open the plushies or flowers tab in the item market. A new label will appear at the top of the page with the current price for a full set.

    Is blue a colour?
    Yes. Yes it is.

    How does the script work on a technical level?
    The script intercepts the AJAX response from the item market and processes the result. No user-specific or sensitive information is intercepted or processed.


    This is the first version of this script so there are bound to be some bugs. Please let me know by replying to this thread or through a PM. Other requests and feedback are also appreciated.

    • V0.5 (2015-08-29): other item sets added. firefox still busted.
    Note:
    (2015-08-01) At this time the script is not working in firefox. This will be fixed asap.

    I'm planning on checking this out, whilst I'm at it. I'll suggest a few things.

    First of, how about you make one of these but for the medical set and drugs etc as well as the flowers.
    Secondly, Could you possibly make a quick link to the points market on the "Points" word on the image you are displaying. It's a lazy dog way of doing things but I'm sure it would be great.

    Other than that the script looks cool. I'll defiantly check this out right now.

    Why would you want to know the price of medical and drug "sets"? Flower and plushie sets can be exchanged for points in the museum after youve completed the History course for a small profit. If anything, add in the artifacts to the script, but those are almost never a profit.

    R+ great script, cant wait for the firefox fix!

    V0.5 has just been released. Introducing the other item sets.



    Firefox edition is still busted atm.

    Don't have museum unlocked, but I plan to use this to benefit my trading and travel running. R+ and hope to use it for it's intended purpose soon :P

    As this doesn't seem to have been updated for a long time, I've taken the liberty of modifying it so it works on Firefox too.

    MrHat - if you do fix your version, I'm happy to take this one down, I just wanted one that worked!

    I was searching for something like this, since I was hard filling everything into my calculator whilest buying the plushies. I am gonna try this as soon as I land, I've installed already. If it works, +1000 and if there are some bugs I'lll let you know! Thanks again!

    If I were to do some of the things I use this for by manual cross-referencing, cycling and toggling through different locations, taking notes and making calculations it would take so long that it would take no time at all because I just wouldn't do it.

    That's how brilliant this is

    To come back at it, I've been using it for a couple days now, and I love it. Makes it so much easier calculating and seeing how much a set costs on the market. Nice thing in my opinion is when you see the price go up when I buy all low plushies and flowers ghehehe!

    For now it works very good, haven't had any problems with it.

    This script doesn't seam to work with chrome anymore. is there a way to fix it?
