    Gym Gains

This guide is for players who have less than 200,000 in a stat which is being trained. Past that, Its not effective to keep using this guide.

    Gyms

Training in gyms varies depending on the gym you are currently in.
    Premier Fitness: (First Gym)

    Georges: (Last Heavy Gym)

Note the changes in the energy used and in the amount gained in the gym.
Check to make sure that there isnt a gym which has a higher gain in the stat about to be trained.

    Happiness

    ------------UPDATE----------------

Also effects crime success... i only just found this out...

Happiness will play a huge part until 200,000 in the particular stat. Example upto 200,000 in strength.
Higher the current happiness, the higher the gains.
Happiness will regenerate every 15 minutes. On these times: xx:00, xx:15, xx:30, xx:45.
If you are over the maximum happiness, when one of these times is passed it will put you back to max happiness.

    Boosters

When the cooldown reaches 24 Hours, you wont be able to take anymore until it reduces back under 24 hours.

    Lollipops

    25 Happiness
Adds 30 mins to the booster cooldown
Bought in the city sweetshop, or from the item market (cheap to buy)
    From the city sweet shop

    Erotic DVD

    2500 Happiness
Adds 6 Hours to the booster cooldown
Bought from the item market (Expensive)
    From the item market

    Properties

    Houses

The better the property the better the Maximum Happiness.
Keep an eye on property upgrades, the more upgrades a property has the higher the maximum happiness.

Note: Same property, different Happiness, due to upgrades.
Property Upgrades also have other bonuses other than happiness. Example: Hot Tub +2% Gym gains.
Other perks from other upgrades in the property.
For the best happiness possible for the property, going into the City > Estate Agents > Rental Market
This will allow you to rent properties from other players for a smaller amount of cash than buying them. Great for players just starting.

    Staff

    Add happiness and perks.
    Left: Doctor, Right: Pilot
They raise the maximum happiness, also add perks. Life Regen and Access to Airstrip.

    Drugs

    Effect: Doubles happiness
    Cooldown: 03:20-03:40
    Cost: ~$70,000
    Overdose: - 100% Happy, - 100-150 Energy

    Effect: + 250 Energy, + 75 Happy
    Cooldown: 06:00-08:00
    Cost: ~$850,000
Overdose: Lose all Energy, Happy and Nerve, 83:20 in Hospital, After Effect: 23:05

    Education

The Sports Science part of education will give extra gym gains in 2 ways.
Per stat depending on which course is completed, and the bachelor gives 1% extra to all of the stats.

    How to train

    No/Low Cash

Get a property with high happiness. (I can rent properties at times out to new players for free)
Eat lollipops before you train, until you cant eat any more
    Use an Ecstasy
    Train

    High Cash

This method, you have to hope that you dont overdose on drugs.
Make sure you stop taking boosters before you do this method, you need the booster space later on.

Rent a Private Island and get all the Staff
    When at 150 Energy
Use 3 Xanax (Upto 900 Energy, use 1 after the other) Wont get any regenerating energy, but you gain more this way anyway
    When last xanax cooldown ends
(For more gains time it between 00:00 Torn Time and 00:03 Torn Time
Use 5 Erotic DVDs (Will take you to 30 hours booster space)
    Take an Ecstasy
    Use all the energy
Get 25 points from the points market
Use the points on an energy refill
    Use the train

If you have done it at midnight TCT, you can use the refill at 00:00-00:03, then the days refills will kick in, you will be able to use the refill for 00:03-00:15. Keeping the happy you have gained.

Anything I have missed, post it below or mail me and i'll do my best to add it.

I put this as a new player guide, typically new players cant sustain themselves with cans and it is still effective for them to use happy boosters.

    Yup Yup.
    Very expensive. "Xanax/Cans/FHC/E-DVD Combo"

But could you give some advice about those...
I mean their effectivity and some training advice.

And when should we use it.
    Thanks in advance.

There are loads of factors i'll have to take into account. Luckily i have 1 stat (Dex) i left behind and will have to get up soon, so i can test the gains then.
Until then i can only guess what it will do which is:
At low amounts of a stat happiness is the best thing you can have, regardless of any energy boosters (ignoring FHCs as 0.00000000000001% of the new players can get these readily)
At the higher end of the stat gain which is affected by the happiness, it might be better to take energy boosters but when that is, i have no idea.

Ok. I will find a better properties or maybe rent it.
No problem... I mean it expensive...geez.... but no problem.

0.00000000000001% = Impossible... Hahahahahahah.. You love those zero aren't you. ^_^

    Oh well....

    Thanks for the reply Cheesy

Thanks for the info, big help to a Noob. But when you join a gym, the effectiveness bar graph (shown below) disappears. Is there a way of viewing the effects after you join?

Training in gyms varies depending on the gym you are currently in.
    Premier Fitness: (First Gym)

    Georges: (Last Heavy Gym)

Note the changes in the energy used and in the amount gained in the gym.
Check to make sure that there isnt a gym which has a higher gain in the stat about to be trained.

When you unlock a gym you can always go back to it. Clicking on a gym you have unlocked will allow you to go back to it.
It will also let you see the stats for the gym.

Click on Active or Activate to see the gym stats.

Ha, thanks!! How about another question? When I looked back at my gyms, I now see different color ratings? Green, Orange, Yellow so far. And the colors seem unrelated to how far up on the bar graph each training activity reaches.

I'm pretty certain the color of the filled portions relates to the relationship between the gains of the gym you're viewing and the gym that is currently active. (Red/orange being lower gains for that stat than your current gym, green being higher gains)
