In the future the Sidebar will be customisable. You will be able to rearrange the links and remove any you don't use, and also change the colours. Until that update you are able to change the style of the Sidebar between the new Sidebar (Default) and the old Sidebar (Old School). This can be done in the Settings section of your Preferences
